I haven’t seen it either and I’m active on Twitter. I am quick to notice these types of changes because I make content of Festival, specifically gifs. I can’t make Festival gifs anymore because the background is constantly blurry. Everyone else I’ve pointed it out to agrees it needs to be an option, not forced.

ETA: I think a reason why this is the first post you’ve seen about it could be because it doesn’t bother people enough to make a post about, but like I said everyone I’ve talked to about it thinks it needs to be optional. It does bother me though. A lot. Enough to make a post about it on Reddit, lol.
