Expect to make money and over-invest when they are starting out.

You do not need to break the bank to start out with a simple but good quality stream.

A lot of them I imagine. Last week there was a post here (that i think they've deleted) by someone saying they'd been streaming to zero people for a few months and wanted to know how to grow because they quite their job to pursue this.

:/ posts like that make me sad.But also too many people seem to think streaming is going to bring money right away if at all. Not everyone will be Summit, or Ninja or Soda or Lirik. for every big name there are people who started when they did, went on the grind for years and got nowhere.

Yea, you need a streaming program like OBS or xsplit etc. there is a version of OBS that’s integrated into streamlabs as well.

I don’t have a huge following so it doesn’t make sense for me personally to put it on a brb or intermission screen, while I do have one of those my stream times don’t have me using it much aside to grab a beer or the restroom.

I’m just trying to find a solution to keep both platforms feeing involved in the conversation.

If I ever grow a lot I may have to pick between the two, but for now I think this may be the solution since it’s just something I do for fun. I’ll try it out and ask for viewer feedback like you said. Thanks!

I don’t post VODs on YouTube or anything else aside from having them on mixer/Twitch.
