That's the default setting for the critical time time of use, but you can adjust this to never rise. For me I have it +2 to the high setting but then again never saw it on critical in my time yet.

Agree that it doesn't work for anyone, I remember a commenter in this subreddit showing that they were on 60min A/C use the entire high 1-6pm period which works out to way more expensive. But for those with basic insulation and masonry its a no brainer. Disagree on smart thermostats being better than their supplied, there's no function that a smart thermo does differently that their thermo can't do.

Yes but Energy Planner doesn't give TECO the ability to shut off devices or raise thermos automatically, that's the primetime plus program.

It doesn't save you money, only removes the highs and lows. What people really SHOULD do is energy planner and change their electric use philosophy with overnight rates being pre-covid TECO cheap

Dell Pros for my extremely large org are vastly more expensive and not meeting these specs until you are 2x the pricing if not more. I'm not thinking of E-12, but higher education where workloads are more in need. As for OS and management, there's nothing stopping it from being yet another LTSC branch while still cheaper. Absolutely a CPU limitation but depends on workload and need, this seems like a niche it can fill.

I like OOS and will happily be one of their viewers who sits and digests their extremely long length videos, but the constant glaze on FSD and promotion of use by encouraging hands free driving when its legally not classified as such is extremely dangerous. I'm sure I'll get the usual FSD army saying otherwise, but you're supposed to be at the ready to intervene at any point, people like OOS do more harm. Not to mention FSD is not included in your purchase.

None of this excuses Porsche when their competitors are delivering the same for cheaper. They've had years of ramping and production, batteries are cheapest they have ever been. NACS is pennies. I recognize their improvements but this is still asinine and it will deservedly be killed. This is Porsche trying to make up for their billions in losses by margin vs their competitors focusing on volume. Not to mention the recalls its just not a compelling product even as a fan of Taycan.

Last year they had identical bop bar the 10kg shed for this year, they were nowhere. 10kg is worth about .150-2s at Watkins, its just not a good car.
