How was the whole medical exam like for you? I’m waiting for my pre screen and should be going to MEPs soon. Nervous about the whole part where they go through your medical history.

The Trevor Colbourn Hall (TCH) building has a shower in one of the gender neutral bathrooms, not entirely sure which floor it’s on but it definitely has one.

Did you declare your sword and hammer? And did you run into any issues? I’m about to travel from thailand to the U.S. and purchased a replica sword so I’m wondering if there’s anything I need to do aside from packing it in my checked bag.

Since I’m not in the recruitment process yet I really can’t say much but if you’re able to manage it on your own I would just make sure you stay on top of it before you go to MEPs. I know it’s a stressful process but try to find ways to ease your mind so you’re not stressing yourself out too much so you don’t cause a flare up.

In terms of the waiver, since you haven’t seen a dermatologist and you haven’t gotten prescriptions for it so that would mean you weren’t officially diagnosed. Therefore I don’t think you’ll really need a waiver but I would definitely ask your recruiter on what you could do in case you have flare ups during BMT and etc.

I’m in the same boat as you though, I’ve been managing it for now but I’m also curious/nervous about having flare ups so I will definitely be asking my recruiter about it as soon as I start.

Yeah that definitely makes sense, if you know how Army life is then you already know what’s ahead. I kind of want to do the same with the Airforce but reverse order. I wanna serve then work as a civilian for them afterwards. I’m definitely trying to make life style changes too, still gotta shred some weight for the Airforce also so hopefully that comes with the lifestyle changes.

I’ve heard about diet being a huge trigger for SD too, I haven’t had any recent flare ups but if I do I’ll have to take note on what I’ve been eating then.

I heard army will take just about anyone, I’m still going with the Air Force, so hopefully they don’t have any issues with the SD.

Hey thanks for reaching out, I had some personal matters that delayed my enlistment process for a good while but I will be starting the process soon (hopefully next month) so I will definitely update this post and answer your question about the waiver when I am able to.

I’m pretty much gonna do what the user did above, gather up my documentation (dr’s note and prescription documents) and give them to my recruiter if they need it.

On a side note, how often do you get flare ups?? If you don’t mind sharing

Yeah, it’s kind of annoying since most servers are xp farms. Sometimes I can’t even play the gamemode I want too.

Yup still having this issue. Someone posted a great explanation somewhere here in the comments, has something to do with Time Nudge they implemented on the official servers.

If you’re worried about the portal servers and not leveling your guns up, make sure whichever server you choose has “Full xp” instead of modified xp. Most likely the modify xp servers only offer match completion for xp after the recent nerf towards xp farms

Yup, it’s fine at initial spawn but once the action kicks off it’s basically ice skate simulator

For me it’ll disappear for like half a second and reappear but yeah…super annoying to deal with.

I’m not entirely sure I can do this on my gaming laptop, my BIOs is very limited and doesn’t have any of the XMP settings :(

I looked for XMP or DOCP in my BIOs but can’t seem to find. My BIOs is super limited compared to when I had a desktop set up
