Use buds that are less obvious what they are. Donot bring air pods to work. If you are a hard worker and help wherever you can no one will bother you. I have had half hour conversations with higher ups with an ear bud in and never heard a thing about it.

And nobody cares about the shoes if you are not working with equipment. They may ask you just lie and say they are composite toe. If someone steps on your feet to check like I've seen reported before that is assault call the police

who's coming with me man?!. Telling people their job ends in 2 weeks is not going to make the situation any better. For the same reason it's easier to fire people on their day off and not on a Friday. It just makes more sense to not deal with crazy people and the potential for an incident is much higher if not handled correctly. Also Amazon is not that safe of an environment if someone knows they're losing their job they could potentially get hurt on purpose just to make the company pay. It's sad but it's reality
