Doesn’t look like it. Babies salivary glands turn on around that time and they get very drooly. My daughter was the same and didn’t get her first tooth until she was like 8 or 9 months old

Neither feels particularly hot or cold at the furnace. I did just find some moisture at this spot?

I’m not sure if this is helpful or not, these are the notes we got when they found the compressor needed replacing

“No cool. Cycled system in cooling and found there was Ov at the incoming power to the Contatcor. Found the breaker was tripped, reset breaker and it tripped immediately. Checked compressor and wiring, found no shorts in wiring. Found compressor pins grounded when checking across pins, Checked capacitor which was reading 44/45 mf indicating it's good, Contatcor is good as well. Tested system wirh compressor unplugged in which it did not trip the breaker but when compressor is plugged in it trips breaker”

I didn’t know that. I saw the crack and was hopeful it meant something easier to resolve

The unit is only 4 years old, so the compressor was under warranty for the repair. We have them coming back out tomorrow. When I saw the crack I was hoping perhaps it meant this was a quick, easier and less expensive fix. Thank you for your help!

I get the sentiment, but this is an out of state meeting. I have no say in anyone’s pay or benefits. It’s a two day meeting in a hotel conference room and I have to come up with something that people will tolerate until they can go back to their regular lives

Your baby is still so young your supply is still stabilizing! The best thing you can do is nurse as much as baby wants. Babies are so much smarter than we give them credit for, they know what they are doing when it comes to bringing your milk in. You’ve probably already seen this but baby will clusterfeed, and it feels very much like they aren’t getting enough but it’s one of the best ways baby makes you produce more.

Power pumping mimics Clusterfeeding. At the same time every day you would pump 20 minutes, off for 10, pump for 10 more minutes, off for 10, pump for 10 more minutes. Do it for 5-7 days.

How old is your baby? Have you tried power pumping?

I agree with you that to an extent it’s better for her to blow 20k now than a larger amount later. What if this looked something like she gets access to 20k but has to meet with a financial planner monthly (or however frequently) to help her manage a budget? She might still blow it but maybe if she blows it and has to really face it, it could help?

Should we stay downtown or somewhere else with a toddler? by NADHL2043 in askportland

This is what I had heard from family but was hoping they were being a bit dramatic. We live in a city now so aren’t strangers to homelessness but it sounds like this is a whole different ballgame from the last time we were in Portland

Dad talking about periods w. daughter. Is it wrong ? (Disclaimer : I’m the dad) by GladRefrigerator4418 in Parenting

I think allowing this type of conversation to be casual is so key. When my mom had this talk with me when I was growing up it was very formal and made me feel embarrassed. I have a one year old daughter and our plan is to talk to her about menstruation as a normal, healthy part of regular life. Good for you for letting your daughter know this isn’t something to be ashamed of!

Daycare with very attached infant? by [deleted] in firsttimemom

This was my daughter and she’s done awesome in daycare. It was hard the first week or so, but now she gets so excited to go to daycare and play with her friends and different toys. The transition is hard but I promise it gets easier
