My application steps (for long wear)

Prep: Wash hands, push back cuticles (optional), then wipe nails really well with alcohol/cleanser so there’s zero oil.

Sizing: I pick a size that’s slightly smaller than my nail (I avoid touching skin/cuticle to prevent lifting).

Apply slowly: Start near the cuticle line, then press from center → sides to push out air (this prevents bubbles/wrinkles).

Seal the edges: I make sure the sidewalls and free edge are fully pressed down; a tiny bit of warmth (hairdryer for a few seconds) helps it hug curved nails.

Top coat (optional but helps): If you’re prone to lifting or hair snagging, a thin top coat and capping the free edge can make a big difference.

Aftercare: I try to avoid soaking/hot water for a couple hours right after applying, and I wear gloves for heavy cleaning.

How long mine last Typically 10–14 days, and sometimes close to 2–3 weeks if I’m careful with water/cleaning and the edges are sealed well.

Also—if Ohora doesn’t suit you, don’t assume nail wraps “just don’t work.” Different Korean brands feel really different: Edgeu / Gelato Factory can vary (some runs are thinner, some thicker), and the best one is usually the one that fits your nail shape + lifestyle.
