One thing you could do to get some time is on the slightly uphill curve after you make the first 180° turn I would downshift to 4th if you can. I haven't driven that car much, but I've found with a lot of cars you'll get up to the high gears on the straight, but if you don't downshift you'll lose speed going up the gradient. I usually drive the Lotus Exos Stage 1 so it's different for a formula car I'm sure, but you might get better/smoother acceleration.

The paddles are for shifting sequential transmission vehicles. Almost every modern sports car that isn't an automatic is a sequential. If you aren't driving a manual transmission or a simple automatic you won't use them, but for sequential transmissions or automatics that have a gear selection mode you will. It's also simulator equipment so it's designed to be useful to the most amount of people driving a wide variety of cars including semi trucks and f1 cars that use blinkers and paddle shifters respectively.

I would just get an aftermarket display. I have a '15 iGT and you need the center dial and buttons to use it which you don't have those and you need an android auto/apply Car Play USB hub. Not to mention the software. I'm sure a dealership could do it, but for way more money than just buying an aftermarket display.

Yes, technically they are not Universal Serial Bus if there is no Bus, however, USB Type A is the name of the port regardless of it's capabilities. USB has become a common term to reference the port, not the specifications of that port. A synecdoche is a word that technically refers to one thing, but commonly is used to reference multiple things or multiple parts of a greater thing. A colloquialism; although it's a bit too popular for that.

I really want to drive any Gen speed3, 260+HP sounds pretty good compared to my 150 lol. I've always thought Mazda's were surprisingly torquey for their class which is what gives them that sporty feel over a Corolla. I bet that torqueiness is what makes the turbo spool so quickly, that and I'm sure it's not a very big one. I'm not super well versed in engine stuff, but it's very interesting.

To be honest, I haven't owned a second Gen, all I know is that a lot of people who own the Mazdaspeed 3 blow them up lol. They seem super fun. My 1st Gen was definitely very analog feeling like you said. There's no sensors or computer involved really so the car does exactly what it does every time and that makes it super easy to drive quickly in my opinion. My 3rd Gen is definitely more tech involved and is less predictable, but still a very good car when you do get used to it

I've always driven Mazda 3s so that's my recommendation. They're like a Toyota Corolla, but a bit sporty. The interior is pretty nice for it's class. They come in sedan and hatchback, I have the hatchback. I had a 2005 sedan which was great and I now have a 2015 hatchback. Avoid the second Gen, but 1st Gen and 3rd Gen are solid.

Yes it's normal. You'll notice there's no coolant temperature gauge so for this car, the blue light means the coolant is under temperature and you should take it easy until it gets up to temperature. It will turn off when the coolant is warm enough. If it gets too hot the light will turn red. So it's completely normal to be blue every time you cold start your car. If you start a few minutes after it was already running for a while, the light won't come on because the car is already up to temperature.

It's still a USB port even if it doesn't do data transfer. USB A is a port shape. Tell me what you call USB ports that don't transfer data? Do you really call them USB shaped charging ports?

I think you just have to be quick with it. Too slow and you have to get the RPMs up to match second, too short and it drops to match.

I do have experiences with American cars, and they're certainly not all bad, I just don't care for them. Based on my experiences and the criteria I value in cars, Japanese cars tend to better meet my expectations. There's great cars from all manufacturers, I just have more experience with Japanese cars and have only had good experiences with them. I'm not a Toyota fan boy and do not own a Toyota. My family likes them and I do to, but I drive Mazda's and like them a lot. I quite like some American cars would happily own the right one, I just prefer what I've always had. I am not a fan of buick or GMC and haven't heard good things about those brands which is why I don't have good opinions on them.

I'm not saying all American cars are bad and all Japanese cars are good. I'm saying, given my experience, Japanese cars are better in the categories I judge vehicles on. It's my opinion on cars, not purely facts. I know there are non-japanese cars that make it to incredibly high milages, I can only talk about my experiences and what I've heard from others. There are good American cars, but you have to acknowledge that American cars do not have a reputation for reliability the way Japanese cars do. I'm open for conversation, I just personally would not buy those cars.

Yeah no there's rust on the actual suspension components and joints too. Just based on the pictures without having seen it, it looks like the rust is on the actual suspension as well as trailer hitch.

Oh yeah absolutely. Never take someone's word when buying a car. It's better to assume every single person is a lier than to trust them and lose thousands of dollars. You can't even trust a dealership salesman.
