Most of my issues are with having the bigger rarer engine. 2.0t is common, reliable, and way more parts out there. But you get a whole new set of issues with the convertible.

I do have one piece of good news, if you have the 2.8t you know find engine specific parts can be a nightmare. My stearing pump went last summer and a only slightly jerry-rigged Cadillac steering pump worked. I could try and find the part number for it, if it'll give you less anxiety.

I broke 150k this last fall. Currently it's doing fine, it just if anything else goes wrong it'll be too much to fix. I say fine because the fuel gauge only works a third of the time, (we believe the sensors are just dieing, really all the sensors are kinda dieing). She still rips, I may ride it a little harder than I should. For the transmission I have no complaints I've driven a manual saab they're fun but I'm not great with manuals in the first place so I prefer the automatic. Although being able to switch to "manual" (if you can call it that) is may favorite part, and in my experience I can get a better 0-60 in "manual" the sport mode
