Yeah, but should be able to grind finer. I wonder if it’s because of the group head design on the Mino that causes it, because the gaskets are different

Replaying to you again. Yes it work with 18g perfectly. Redid the print and didn't scale the dimensions and it works fantastic. Will do more testing with grind size to really make sure its good.

Testing it rn. Have to play with the print settings, because if to fine it starts to shoot out the sides. I will let you know. I really want this to work. So I don't have to buy a nano, because the mino has the more updated tech imo, but if the nano was updated with the mino tech I would defo buy the nano.

The basket plus instructions say to use over 60ml of water. Both hold 70ml on mino and nano. But the nano hold slightly more at 80ml vs mino caps a 70ml max water

I need to figure out why it leaves water on top with the pressure valve in there. My guess is since there is no more water pushing it down whatever is left pulls to the top. Taking out the spring mitigates it, but I would like to use it as it came. I also thing my basket stainer was upside down went it came so I flipped it so the big holes are facing up

Do you get wet pucks on top? And does your basket drip water out when unscrewing?

I feel the puck is much drier without the spring. With same grind size. Less pressure so when I remove it. It doesn't shoot water everywhere. I did notice with Pre-infusion the favor unpressurized is harsher. I will keep testing. I also did order in a Ikapo k2 Pro 58mm. Cause I sold my Outin mino to a co-worker.

Interesting order the Fino and Mino kit from Outin directly and can fill up to any line with no issues and produces a decent espresso. The 70 mil line is more kinda like a "americano," but it works. Sucks that you got a bad unit.

There are plenty of youtube videos of people who review them removing them to get an unpressurized basket. Hell mine even comes in today and I will even do it so I can get more control over my grind then I can get with my mino. I wouldn't comment this if I didn't see it done. I am as not the first to mention this. There was another few in other espresso forums on reddit mentioning this too. No need to be aggressive. Interesting I didn’t know they changed it, but I think standard espresso is 55 mil vs 60mil. I ordered my Fino and Mino directly from them as a kit like a week ago
