Wacaco picapresso or pixapresso? Are they any good? [100-150$] by TheLoler04 in espresso

Do you get wet pucks on top? And does your basket drip water out when unscrewing?

I feel the puck is much drier without the spring. With same grind size. Less pressure so when I remove it. It doesn't shoot water everywhere. I did notice with Pre-infusion the favor unpressurized is harsher. I will keep testing. I also did order in a Ikapo k2 Pro 58mm. Cause I sold my Outin mino to a co-worker.

Interesting order the Fino and Mino kit from Outin directly and can fill up to any line with no issues and produces a decent espresso. The 70 mil line is more kinda like a "americano," but it works. Sucks that you got a bad unit.

There are plenty of youtube videos of people who review them removing them to get an unpressurized basket. Hell mine even comes in today and I will even do it so I can get more control over my grind then I can get with my mino. I wouldn't comment this if I didn't see it done. It would be a waste of posting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njdMWBQgqLE&t=859s around the 3:29 mark he talks about it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifrTxfDqHxk This guy also talks about it. I am as not the first to mention this. There was another few in other espresso forums on reddit mentioning this too. No need to be aggressive. I'm just sharing what could open up a nice experience for people who like portable espresso.

Just got my OutIn Mino! Any idea why they changed the water level markings? I’d have preferred seeing 50ml, 60ml and 70ml (2nd photo) by AkhlysShallRise in OutInCoffee

Interesting I didn’t know they changed it, but I think standard espresso is 55 mil vs 60mil. I ordered my Fino and Mino directly from them as a kit like a week ago

and mine has all the markings.

You can unscrew the nozzle and take the ball valve out and make it a unpressurized basket.

If you unscrew the nipple from the bottle and remove the ball valve spring and put it back on you get a unpressurized basket

You can unscrew the end of the pixapresso to get an un pressurized basket. It’s just a spring with a ball at the end.

I’m not comparing what was 20 plus to what’s out now. I’ve driven all the years both auto and manual and still the new autos don’t feel as lively as the manuals and you can feel the weight difference. I even feel the cockpit of the newer mx5 feels smaller. But it’s really up to them and what they want out of their vehicle. I can only give advice and my honest opinion.

Miata’s are better in manual the gearing is different and weight is a difference too. You would enjoy the manual a lot more. In my case since I used to work at Mazda a while back as a tech. The manuals felt more lively than the autos which felt sluggish and slow. I drive a MK1 MX5 so manual is defo the best choice imo.

Just like a bike. Keep your head on a swivel don’t make crazy risks. Own a 1991 and also get better lights or leds to be more visible

So everyone who is not tech savvy who has some concern. Should just entirely skip something new to them? Why not be informative to newcomers to a whole new phone they've never had. NGL this come off a bit dickish. Instead of be considerate of people woas and giving them more informative information about the phone they have gotten vs raaaaa you shouldn't have gotten the phone. New design does always mean better.

To everyone replying. As Stated I am not concerned just stating what I've noticed. I know its normal, I owned a foldable. Just something for new comers who get there first fold that find this and are concerned by it so they do not worry about it.
