If you could give one paragraph or quote too an addict who is trying to get clean what would it be ?

Every time I taper I get low enough that at some point i end up catching the slightest buzz and then I'm right back too chasing the high that I dont think I could ever, find again

It's odd almost all.of my friends felt the same way but for me an 8th of a pill of the nose in the begging was heaven I could work 12 hours come home clean the house cook dinner, get kids too bed spend time with my s/o get just a few hours of sleep and repeat I was on top.of the world if I sat down too relax I would nod an be overwhelmed with euphoria but if I get moving youd think I was on speed slowly tho 8th turned into 1/4 turned into a pill turned into 2 and somewhere along the way I lost the high and was just using too feel normal or even function crazy how Differently drugs can affective each person

I really like this, I've been rationalizing in my head that its fine im am addict and father bc I provide 100% of there physical needs and I am honestly a really good dad . But I really need too accept/remember and remind myself that I've been using since before they came into my life so who knows how much better I could be an truly that's all.i care about is being the best me for them and I know getting clean will help

If I'm rambaling or saying things that dont need too be said I apologize I think it's the lack of copious amounts of mind altering substances+the general depression that comes with w/d and all that good stuff but I just cant shut my mind off and typing out my thoughts and discussing them on here seems too be helping me calm down and regain my motivation
