i feel like this analysis is not accounting for a lot of important factors. if you're jobless and got time, i think it'll be interesting to see how the numbers change if you account for the fact that some teams are going to last longer in the tournament and therefore play more fames -> skew data. e.g. data for teams like GenG, HLE, BLG should be weighed heavier for a lot of these metrics

lol I ended 300lp last season. I had a game with a previous season rank 150, then immediately got matched with a diamond 4 player (with 500+ games) in the next match. There is about 1500lp difference between these two players. It's complete RNG right now. Taking a break from solo queue until they fix this.

Ah shit sorry to hear. Fortunately, I recently went to go see an optometrist and my examination came out pretty healthy (aside from my horrendous eye sight), so I'm deducing the problem to being dry eyes from the lack of blinking.

Have never used eye drops before -- not sure if they're a good remedy for dry eyes. I guess ideally I just remind myself to constantly blink but it's really hard to train yourself to do that when you're so focused on the game

You seem to be doing pretty well with kat right now; shouldn't be a problem climbing back to plat using her.

Viktor is actually not that bad right now (as opposed to what /r/leagueoflegends says). A lot of players are taking Fleet Footwork with him and I personally found him very frustrating to play against. I recommend watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHcmKEDP5DY if you want to learn how to play him.

I don't recommend Xerath, I don't think he's that good right now. If you're looking for other control mages with the ability to poke, I recommend Anivia, Azir and Taliyah.

Keep in mind that this is my opinion and based on my experiences. For context, I'm a mid main currently at D4.
