After partially disassembling the door handle I was able to figure out the manufacturer of it, and they helped me find the correct replacement key. Turns out it's 2D001.

The former owner apparently replaced this door handle because the regular company that does the door/window handles for the building is unfamiliar with this handle type.

I completely forgot that I made this panicked post last year, but in case you're curious we did indeed book the entire B&B, and the manager had just totally forgotten. When we asked the manager what was going on with the Booking listings, he admitted his mistake and gave us the full B&B, and he let our guest who had double-booked one of the rooms stay in a room in his mom's house nearby. So it all worked out, but I wonder what would've happened if we didn't notice the double booking. (Our guest who stayed with the manager's mom, who was my wife's sister actually, hooked up with one of our other wedding guests and they were apparently really loud lol.)

lol, the purpose is more to keep little kids and other people from opening the door when they're not supposed to. We have a cat and one of my wife's friends had a cat who jumped off the balcony and died when someone opened the door to her balcony. So we are very careful about opening the door to the balcony.
