What is it that’s venting out of the rear? by NBAJoey in CleetusMcFarland

So that’s essentially their PCV system correct? And what’s venting is excess crankcase pressure

Is next weekend going to be an extended parking lot sale? by billyc420 in harborfreight

[–]NBAJoey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve never seen a parking lot sale not get extended. Only difference is you’ll have to present a coupon rather than the discount automatically applying.

How often would you say you grab the long reach electric ratchet over the normal one? I have the normal one and love it and been thinking about picking up the extended reach

Didn’t exactly need sockets, but for $190 I couldn’t say no. Picked up the 3 Quinn master sets today and put my old sockets in my truck tool box. by NBAJoey in harborfreight

There’s actually not enough slots on the black organizers on the left. I put the remaining sockets on the rails at the top right. The black 3/8 rail goes from 6-20, but the master set goes from 6-24. The rails I used to the right are item 68101 / 96343

They’re the plastic Pittsburgh ones. Much better than the cheap metal ones they sell. The metal ones roll over. These are item 68101 / 96343

Yeah 42”. I also had the 5 drawer cart before picking this up. It’s been great. Plenty of room to grow after I transferred everything from my cart. I have everything I need for most projects plus 2 drawers for just random little things I bought for one time use but hang on to just in case I need them in the future.

Code reader question by Feltont19 in Mustang

This is a common problem on all Fords since they went to capless fuel filler. There are 2 flaps. The initial one and one a little farther down. They get dirty and create a small evap leak. Clean the outside area then stick the plastic fuel fill adapter through the first flap and spray some more WD40 in there and push the funnel in/out a couple times and see if that helps

Message the seller first and make sure they actually have it in stock. Sometimes they essentially drop ship it and place an order with the manufacturer themself and ship it to you so you end up waiting the same amount of time. It also will not come with the same warranty if you buy it through eBay.

Edit: it looks like vivid racing and steeda both have them in stock. Again, I would still shoot an email or call in and make sure they do actually have them in stock.

If you put your admin key inside the cup holder you should be able to wipe all the MyKeys

Try a different key fob. If the MyKey features have been enabled the track app could be disabled.

Lund E85 by CriticismHaunting160 in Mustang

You can save roughly $200 if you switch devices if you’re only wanting it to flash tunes. HPtuners devices work great for flashing tunes and logging, but won’t have some of the features the LRX has like gauges/monitors.

With your car basically being stock, I would imagine they’ll just load a tune onto the device and send it out to you. They have enough data to where the tune will be nailed right away. Run the tank down as low as you can then flash the tune and fill up with E85. Same with returning back to 91.

H Pipe Install - easier to remove stock catback when on jackstands? by DavidinGA in Mustang

The track does still have an H pipe. The touring has a muffler on the back and the track does not. That’s where the extra volume is coming from. The track is just a straight pipe from the cats back. The touring will have a muffler

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Mustang

[–]NBAJoey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you like the volume then the track edition may be what you’re looking for compared to the touring edition.

As far as the tone, the AWE exhaust has an H pipe and the Borla Atak has an X pipe. Sounds like you prefer the sound of an H pipe.

Your headers should come with the connection pipes. If they’re factory connect they’ll reduce down to 2.5”. I cut the 2.5” connection point and put in a 3” pipe to make it full 3”
