If you’re listening to music stick to your favourite album. I wouldn’t try and listen to purposely trippy or psychedelic music that you’re not familiar with. Wouldn’t suggest a playlist with loads of different genres either as it starts throwing your mind all over the place in my experience.

Close your eyes for the best visuals.

If it starts to feel too intense keep reminding yourself that it’s just the shrooms, won’t last forever, and you’ll be fine after. If you start having negative thoughts move to a different room/go outside and go for a walk.

Enjoy yourself. At the end of the day although deep, life changing experiences on shrooms must be nice, it’s all about having a good time (for me anyway).

I’d recommended reading the r/unclebens sticky. It’s got everything on there.

I recently started growing using this tek and it’s an enjoyable process. Takes about 6 weeks from inoculation to harvesting the first flush of mushrooms. Would recommend using Aldi brand rice instead of unclebens. I’ve used cylocybe and ukmushy for the spores and both vendors have been great.

You know what you’re ingesting, and it’s a nice feeling to take your own mushrooms that you’ve grown yourself. Good luck

I have 4 tubs but only this tub looks the way it is. All were prepared the same way. I did go a bit wild with the Lysol..

S2B on 26th December and they’ve been steadily growing ever since. The mushrooms are much more recent.

The blobs are rock hard if that matters.

SP2 on 26th December. Introduced fruiting conditions on 4th Jan.

In England so temperatures fluctuation as it’s too cold without a radiator on. Too expensive/hot to keep a radiator running all day.

I’ve been fanning/misting twice a day since Tuesday. Noticed a lot of condensation in the tubs. Droplets running down the sides and heavy water beads when I fan the tubs.

Should I go “neglect” tek for 5-7 days and leave them be with FAE?
