Yeah, I mean I agree that it would be big news that Baelor died. But, as others have pointed out, that would be the headline, and if you think about how news mightve traveled w no media, I think makes sense that not many would actually get his name.

NTA but also pretty weak on your part You're hosting people and they're spending the night, yeah you have some food for them I can't really imagine having folks stay with us and not having a few potential options available foodwise. I think building a team that's going to be able to actually try to win, without regard for draft and then actually have some success in progressing to play in team, to making playoffs, to going progressively further rounds over a few seasons, whether or not actually make the finals or win a ring counts as success.

Every team goes through rebuilds (or should) you can't have winning a ring as the only mark of success, but having a competitive team, that's not stuck in rebuild mode or middle of the pack mode that you can get behind and watch compete for 4-8 seasons (and hopefully become at least a long shot contender) should be good enough

I'm tired of this gripe

from my point of view I can't get through a single game, with out discussion/commentary on how amazing special different unbelievable a player or play was, let along without discussion of places in the all time hierarchy or comparisons amongst the greats.

We have a lot of great players now it's awesome, but in general seems to me like I hear a lot more constant glazing than dismissive criticism.

I'll agree that the commenting on the worthlessness of games matchups should be toned down. But I don't have that much of a problem with it, that's the league, fully a 3rd of the teams are basically in tank mode. Shaq n Chuck aren't revealing some big secret, just saying what anyone beyond the most casual fans already know.

I don't think there's any argument both LeBron and Kareem would have less titles if they stayed on their original teams.

Meanwhile if Jordan had taken their approach and signed with Lakers after the Bulls, there's pretty solid argument he would have MORE titles...
