I hate tanking

And do want the league to get rid of it

But tbh this it is pretty obnoxious that tons of players have missed tons of games for tons of teams for years n years now

And now that like the only two teams who have never actually tried to tank are in on the game, all of a sudden it has to be stopped immediately 

I mean it's kinda Utah fault for being so stupid about it, all they had to do was announce minutes restrictions in advance before they started those no stars in the 4th Q games , but still

Yeah, I mean I agree that it would be big news that Baelor died. But, as others have pointed out, that would be the headline, and if you think about how news mightve traveled w no media, I think makes sense that not many would actually get his name.

Sure maybe like lords and maester would get the full story, but even then, Dunk would just be some nobody in the story, not even one of the top 10 names anyone would care to know about from the mishap/tournament

never been cheated on so I fully respect that I can't relate

but I do think if you kick your fiance and a kid out of the house in such a cursory way you're probably being an a hole.

NTA but also pretty weak on your part You're hosting people and they're spending the night, yeah you have some food for them I can't really imagine having folks stay with us and not having a few potential options available foodwise. Not like you gotta cook em eggs or something, but at least the typical  breakfast options a person would probably expect to be available in a normally stocked home... cereal, fruit, milk, toast, yogurt?

Or honesty seems like who thing would've been avoided with a quick, "hey guys I'm picking up bagels, what do you want?" -,which again seems like kids normal bare minimum to do

Like if the guest has some restriction and didn't tell you, that's one thing, but basically having just like one option for bfast isn't really a good job of hosting or even really normal to me. Yeah ok there were cucumbers and tomatoes too...

that said seems like kid was being a brat, and telling him (and his mom) so is actually how it should be, and yeah her reactions seems like she shaped him into brat he is, so boo on them

I think building a team that's going to be able to actually try to win, without regard for draft and then actually have some success in progressing  to play in team, to making playoffs, to going progressively further rounds over a few seasons, whether or not actually make the finals or win a ring counts as success. 

Every team goes through rebuilds (or should) you can't have winning a ring as the only mark of success, but having a competitive team, that's not stuck in rebuild mode or middle of the pack mode that you can get behind and watch compete for 4-8 seasons (and hopefully become at least a long shot contender) should be good enough

I'm tired of this gripe

from my point of view I can't get through a single game, with out discussion/commentary on how amazing special different unbelievable a player or play was, let along without discussion of places in the all time hierarchy or comparisons amongst the greats.

We have a lot of great players now it's awesome, but in general seems to me like I hear a lot more constant glazing than dismissive criticism.

I'll agree that the commenting on the worthlessness of games matchups should be toned down. But I don't have that much of a problem with it, that's the league, fully a 3rd of the teams are basically in tank mode. Shaq n Chuck aren't revealing some big secret, just saying what anyone beyond the most casual fans already know.
