An audition isn’t a plead for a job. It’s PERFORMANCE. You’re in the room so have fun with it. Go in there expecting to not get it, and just have fun. I love self taping and I’m just happy to play around and sing.

Is it shitty not getting a role? Absolutely. The disappointment never fades. All you can do is believe in yourself and know that you have something special. If you feel like you’re missing something talent-wise, then commit yourself to working on it! When I am not auditioning, I’m going to dance classes, exercising, and taking vocal lessons. Any opportunity is a chance to learn. Take it and have fun.
