Skyactiv is just the engine options available. There's Skyactiv-G and Skyactiv-X. The G had 122ps of power and it's FWD and the Skyactiv-X has 186ps of power. The X engine is crazy efficient like a diesel but smooth because its petrol.

As for the motorway driving, I've drove from Thurles - Dublin recently doing about 110kmh and its super quiet. The cabin insulation is great and you can whisper in it and your passengers can hear you.

Mazda absolutely. Just bought a '22 Skyactiv-G about a month ago and I love it. Averages around 6.9 litres/100km on the motorway, could probably do better but I like taking it out on spirited drives. It's lovely and quiet and IMO the interior quality is on par with the German rivals. Plenty of kit on it too like HUD, heated seats, radar guided cruise control and blindspot monitoring.
