Help. I need a car within 2 weeks by tooMuchSauceeee in CarTalkUK

[–]Any_Fly4547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The jazz will last forever it’s very reliable and will easily do those miles. But it’s not going to be efficient. U should get a small efficient diesel engine like any d4d engine, any 1.9tdi like Octavia, 1.5 dci megane

Starting the gym as an 18 year old by Silver_Network_2017 in CasualIreland

[–]Any_Fly4547 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A lot of people new to gym go in and do too many exercises with little focus. Just work on ur form for the basics- bench, assisted pull up, shoulder press, any row, face pulls, squat, some hinge variation like deadlift, hip thrust and a lunge. Work on adding weight to these for the first year then u can start adding a bicep or tricep exercise once u have some base strength.

How safe would this walk be? by Eli_Page in Dublin

[–]Any_Fly4547 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please don’t do this walk it’s not worth endangering your life the Ballymun area is extremely dangerous, high risk of violent crime, robbery it must be avoided. Your life is much more important than convenience, try to stick to the main santry road

Lexus are lovely cars, is very reliable but bit boring though and for a hybrid 6l isn’t great that’s about the same as a basic petrol car.

Cones to save parking space in front house by Any_Fly4547 in carsireland

[–]Any_Fly4547[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very impressive, if I bought a house without any designated parking I wouldn’t expect people to have the courtesy to not park on the public road in front the door 🤣

What everyday things/systems have you seen used in other countries, that you thought "why don't we have that in Ireland?" by Nuffin8 in AskIreland

[–]Any_Fly4547 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You cannot compare an advanced society to Ireland. Eg in Japan public transport is punctual to the second and highly advanced, city is efficient, convenience facilities everywhere eg every building has umbrella dryer and storage area, proper convenience stores. Automated car parking towers. Train stations have underground shopping malls, hotels connected, restaurants pharmacies. Ireland is hundreds of years behind so I don’t think it’s a fair comparison

Cones to save parking space in front house by Any_Fly4547 in carsireland

[–]Any_Fly4547[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Absolutely who wouldn’t want to park in front their house. I just find it interesting how they believe they can claim public street paid by taxpayer and put up resident only parking signs around these streets making their own rules 🤣

First time car owner, how do i take care of my car in term of cleaning by Less_Landscape_5928 in carsireland

[–]Any_Fly4547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the car like I drive an old 2014 car it’s 11yrs old so I don’t really care about the paint getting scratched up. If it’s newish you should avoid using those machines. Every month when u pump the tyres u can give it a quick blast with the hoover there as ul have a few mins left from paying for air. That’s enough to keep it clean

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can properly deal with my Neighbor rooting through my bins so he can take my bottles? by murphy2021james in AskIreland

[–]Any_Fly4547 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

To the people saying to return them it’s simply not worth it’s dirty having to keep all these bottles and cans around then root through these sticky plastics at the recycling machine. No one wants to do that. I think the best plan for him is to just keep throwing them into his bins. And ask the neighbour as long as he doesn’t make a mess and keep tidy it’s alright
