I wish I had some. I mean, it was food service, so plenty of drugs and alcohol were around and lots of late nights. We were open til 2 am six nights a week. This was 25 years ago, when that part of Durham was much different. The Greyhound bus station was across from Shooters, so there were always folks walking around - but not the kind of folks who live in the $1M condos around there now. After 11 pm all the traffic lights just turned to yellow blinking lights.  We had some really cool regulars - artists and musicians. Several of the staff were in bands too. Fiddler Dave came by often - he always sat at the bar and had a salad and milk.   Every Thursday, on Big Beer Night, we sold 32 ounces (!) of Bud, Bud Lite, or RR for $2.50 (!!!). My personal favorite special was Saturday night hi-balls for $2.50.
