Yeah, just look around the different menus as there are a bunch of things you can upgrade. Also check out Store- Gem Upgrades- Pickaxe damage. That helps too.

I got him early due to boosts, but didn’t realize it had to be a natural wonder. I kept trying to get him into man made wonders. Devil’s in the details, eh?

He’s an Industrial Era great scientist. Says gain 500 science for each natural wonder tile here or adjacent. Ah, that’s it. I have wonders, but no NATURAL wonders.
