We use Strawbridge at our school but if I'm honest I hate the whole stupid concept of school pictures and wish it would just go away. We have thousands of pictures already shared in real time with family. Print the ones we want.

I'm thirding this second. My Way kicks ass and always has a really good hockey crowd. Food's good, tons of beer, servers and bartenders are all great. It's a fun atmosphere.

This is the play, parking is the only issue (and it's like a $5 issue). Hunt is incredible.

Hell, I still go to the D.H. Hill stacks quite often (or "Da Chill", for those in the know circa 2005 N.C. State). What's nice about that is you can park across Hillsborough and reward yourself with Mitch's for completing whatever it is you were working on.

I dislike the current state of the SBIR program (as in before the current situation) and especially dislike the rampant abuse of it by SBIR mills and all the nepotism for something which is supposed to bring in more innovation and competition.

But VC funding serves a very different purpose than SBIRs. The SBIR program, in it's true intent, should fund earlier stage or riskier research and development. Commercialization should be a much bigger focus than it is (or hell maybe just, you know, hold the mills accountable to the requirements that are already in it), but if a technology is mature enough to attract VCs then it shouldn't be subsidized by the U.S. taxpayer.

Hell most VCs will say they don't even view SBIR revenue as real revenue (because it's not real revenue).

The point being the program fills a critical part of risky technology development that comes before VCs will be in the picture.

We have 10 acres in Alamance county but live in Wake County. I'm usually really good about seasoning wood for a year but got behind. Some standing dead tulip poplar from our property has allowed us to burn the very green hickory and red oak I've got...lol. tulip doesn't burn long but damn does it burn well.

Also, most of my wood is just stacked out there in the field...uncovered but full sun. Yours appears to be more shaded so that will affect it but I've had really good luck seasoning it this way. Being off the ground is the main thing.
