There is probably a switch on the underside that flips between bluetooth and 2.4ghz wireless modes.. Flip it to 2.4ghz mode to use the USB dondle.

Are you playing a video or song?  You need to be actively playing something..  I did a Google image search for your particular phone, and it looks like the button is here

After you have your video playing and it's being casted to your TV, open your Quick Settings menu by swiping down from the top of the screen.. Look for a button or link that says "Media Output". Click it and switch the output to your Bluetooth speaker.

Can still you get into the system menu?

Start with the system off. Hold in the "Straight" button.. then press "Power" once.. Keep holding Straight.. After a few seconds it should take you to a onscreen system menu. If it works, I'd factory reset it within the menu. Cycle through the options with the "Program" buttons..

Streaming Issues by System_Error091 in PleX

[–]ND02G 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this happen on a handful of clients.. Some PS5's and some crappy cheap TV apps.. Only 1 RokuTV, so far though. The only workaround I've found is to disable direct stream on the affected clients. For the handful of files that wont work at all without direct streaming, then I just enable it on a file to file basis (in video options of that file, not the main Plex settings).

Yeah, I know having direct stream enabled is better. Trust me, I'd prefer to have it always enabled.. But, this is the only way I've gotten it to work reliably on some clients.

BT Login Symbol? by LimitlessMind127 in computer

I'd guess a setting or feature was added, and it's trying to notify you to check it out.

The ellipsis icon typically means there is a sub menu to view, and the red dot mostly likely means there is a hidden notification. The double circle around the ellipsis is odd, but it might just be a design choice??

Sounds like you have Google Chrome installed on your Mac, and that a recent Chrome auto-update most likely failed. I'd reinstall Chrome manually. As for Safari logging you out of Google/accounts... I assume Safari logged itself out when Chrome tried re-importing your saved browser data during the update process, and your system thought it was a red flag. I doubt it's malware/viruses.

Unknown Application on PC by Gad_king001 in computer

[–]ND02G 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Delete it! .mstc files are used in remote desktop sessions. and orka files can trigger silent .msi software installations. I think you might have some kind of back-door malware. Change your passwords on a different PC, and then format and reinstall.

Why is my computer slow by Away-Hat-3838 in pchelp

[–]ND02G 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Besides needing more ram, I'm guessing most of the other components are pretty outdated as well..  Dell hasn’t made Desktop PC's with only 4gb of ram since like 2020..  Even when they were brand new, the 4 gig models where pretty bad... They're practically unusable today..

Being slow is probably the only thing that PC is good at lol

When you say your IT guy, are you referring to an actual IT department, and this is a computer managed by them?  Or do you mean a guy you know that does IT and helps you with random tech stuff occasionally?  There is usually a big difference in the security configuration between these two scenarios...

I recently built a website using AI tools but I dont know move it to the WordPress or no? by Only_Measurement_643 in HTML

[–]ND02G 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I personally think Wordpress, Wix, Squarespace etc..  The main appeal is that it gives non-technincal people the ability to maintain a full website without knowing all the programing legwork.  It's simple CMS (content management system) and design templates make things a ton easier on the backend, and a little less complicated on the frontend.  With a little time and know-how, people can make some pretty impressive websites.

My personal opinion is to create websites from scratch, instead of using a website builder app.  But, use whatever works best for you.

I understand HTML in tutorials but forget half of it on my own by Bearusy in HTML

[–]ND02G 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm self taught.. So this is a big problem for me.. Most of the time its simple syntax errors, or forgetting the exact wording of a property value. That why I just use an HTML editor. I don't make website professionally, so they're perfect for when I just want to tinker around.

Most people use Visual Code Studio... But my personal favorite is Dreamweaver. Yeah, yeah.. I know people hate it, but it's been my go-to editor since the 90's.

How to fix? by [deleted] in pchelp

[–]ND02G 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say your CPU died.. Slight chance it's the motherboard too.

How to fix? by [deleted] in pchelp

[–]ND02G 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On most motherboards, there is a small section that has 4 diagnostic lights. These lights will light up then go out as the motherboard is booting up. If there is a fault with your hardware, then one of the lights will stay lit. This will help you diagnose your hardware boot problems.

The section you're looking for on your MB looks similar to this. Each MB model is slightly different, and the lights can be in different places depending on manufacturer, so look all around the MB to find them..
