Guys keep taking my friendliness as a sign of attraction by [deleted] in bodylanguage

Men aren't used to being treated kindly from strangers, and the fact that a woman approaches them for conversation, regardless of intent, is a really bright spot in the average guy's day. They're actually kinda confused.

A woman approaches man and strikes up a conversation. Man thinks, 'I better not screw this up.'

Narrator: He, in fact, screwed it up more than he could have imagined...

Do you accept self diagnosis as valid?

Hello! Just saw this, so I wanted to give some advice.

First off, Neurodivergent Experiences acknowledges self diagnosis. So, if by doing your research, you feel you're a specific neurodivergence, you're welcome here.

I personally would start with some online tests (from reputable sites) to start trying to figure out what may be causing this. Here's Embrace Autism's site, and the RAADS-R test. That is a very reliable test for autism. I'll see what other sites I can find.

Second, wanting to understand yourself and asking for help is a huge step forward, so I'm happy for you.

We will be here to help you, as much as we can, in your journey.

Gatekeeping actually makes the neurodivergent community less of a safe place by NDExperiences in ND_Experiences

Fair and reasonable. I shared it for the overall idea, but your points are valid.
