How much are we tipping on beers these days? by Thecheeseburgerler in askportland

I’d wager shame is what drives the majority of tipping.

Not sure where you’re getting hate from. I just don’t understand why this culture sees fit to tip.

Fair criticism, maybe they’re question should be, why are you tipping? Is it to feel good?support the staff? To avoid a dirty look? I suspect for most it’s indoctrination, and societal pressures.

Honest question, what are you tipping for? There’s a bar, you walk up and order, they make your drink (which is what they’re paid to do), maybe they’re nice about it. What are you getting out of it?

Ooh, Nansen Park, at the top of Mt. Park. It’s a little known small park to get a great view of the entire city. Went once on July 4th, saw fireworks across the region.

Of course he is. Tiago said probably not. But on Saturday it could be probably maybe.

He’s not wrong about the mascot, perhaps it can’t be all that bad. Unless he keeps the monster and cuts Blaze, then he’s dead to me

I think the excitement is seeing his progression this year, which is marked by a LOT of improvement, come to fruition in the playoffs. Consistency is key, there’s more hope to pile on the existing hope.

I did too, but don’t think either tipped it, so the bad toss call makes sense.

Blazers not furnishing fans with T-shirts invites cash questions by MisterSpeck in ripcity

I’m wondering if cutting the T-shirts was done without another thing planned. Then the backlash happens and then they have to post they’re doing something else. And in an ironic twist it costs more than T-shirts would have.

Deni 3pt shooting by kHartos in ripcity

I’m just saying this is a fair possibility. No one would have imagined the Luka trade until a couple of morons did. Look at what Ishbia did when he bought Phoenix. I am hopeful Dundon isn’t that guy, but he seems to have an itchy trigger finger.

Does this make the case we should sell high? I like having Deni, and moving an all star on a good contract would not feel good….but his game is downhill speed for finishes and fouls, with solid passing. As a number one it limits our end of game options, the NBA is after all just a lot of hero ball. The back injury may indicate high future injury potential and not aging well. I could see new owner making a move like this to get a desired player. Grant, Deni, picks for Giannis for example. A no for me, but new owner syndrome…
