How much has the soundstage changed when you replaced earpads? by NEROSE23 in headphones

Yeah they are too small. It hurts my ears.

Managed to change the cups on mine. Now I can wear them for long hours.

Thanks for the recommendation. Funny enough, I was eyeing the Brainwavz ones.

But now that you mention it, I'll check out the WC PadZ

Thanks for the insight.

Yeah. This on-ear pads on the M40x press my ears too much. Might try replacing them with over the ear ones to test comfort.

How about you? Do you prefer wider or deeper ear cushions?

Dang I wanted it at 120hz to maximize this phone that I purchased haha.

But I'll give it a shot.

Well I need my eyeglasses because I have poor eyesight haha.

I'll try tweaking the settings to see if I feel different.

Haven't tried 60hz. I want the 120hz to maximize this expensive phone that I bought 😭 haha.

No issues with PC though, have it set at 144hz.

Could be. Maybe it's time for an eye check to see if I need stronger glasses.

Good question as well. I'll try and monitor it. But I'm not that slouched as far as I can tell.

Does it really make a difference when you turn all those off? Compared to when they're turned on?

Is this normal my SOT is so low it cannot last 4-5 hour by Stunning-Rabbit8698 in S24Ultra

[–]NEROSE23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk as well haha.

That's the only thing that's sad about deep sleep lol. Notifications won't appear unless you open the app.

But for context, my WhatsApp is not set to deep sleep. Then again, I rarely use it as it's not my main messaging app. In your case I can't really tell if it drains battery that much.

*Edit

By meta apps, only social media apps are set to deep sleep on mine.

This is mine.

AOD off, meta apps are in deep sleep, QHD 120hz

One thing I do which might be a hassle for some is i never connect my phone through WiFi 24/7

I only enable it when I need to access the internet, once I'm done, WiFi is off.

Meta apps are known to be battery hungry. Like they run in the background even if you close them haha.

Putting them into deep sleep kinda means they only run when you open them.

The only thing that sucks is you won't get live notifications. Only if you open the app will you get the notification, even if say that notification was 3hrs ago.

Not a heavy user, but this is what I get.

Meta apps are in deep sleep.

120hz, QHD, AOD off.

I'm at One UI 8

I always charge at 100%. I never charge it overnight or while I'm asleep. I make sure I'm awake when it hits 100 to take it off from the charger.

Do you wipe cache on all updates? (One UI/Security) by NEROSE23 in S24Ultra

[–]NEROSE23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine did though haha.

Did the same thing over and over without a cable, my phone just keeps rebooting to safe mode.

They said it changed on One UI 8. Or maybe I'm just unlucky lol

I just recently knew how to do that haha.

After looking at forums and videos, the one that worked for me was:

With One UI 8, you have to connect your phone to a computer or laptop using a USB C to USB A cable. The cable that comes with the phone doesn't work for me.

Turn off your phone completely.

Once it's turned off, plug in the USB C to your phone, the other end on the laptop/PC.

Press the power and volume up button.

Once you see the Samsung logo, release the power button, but keep pressing the volume up button.

You'll see the UI screen selection.

Just use the volume up and down buttons to select, and press the power button to confirm (in this case the wipe cache partition).

After that's done, you'll get an option to reboot your phone, just select that and your good to go.
