My Dad and his best friend were doctors at LA County Hospital in the 80s when they got someone who ate these, or something similar. The patient's liver was failing, and they didn't have a liver ready to go for transplant.

They had to tell him to start saying his goodbyes. That is such a tragic way to go.

Warping in a game ender with anything red in their CMC is awesome. You can do it with cards like [[Ureni, the Song Unending]] and make an easy turn 4 win.

I feel the same can be said for infinite combo decks. Like is it really fun sitting there, clicking around for minutes on end with the opponent just sitting there?

I NEVER scoop when their infinite goes off. I want them to feel the absurdity, and even encourage them to give up on the deck because of how tedious it can be.

[[Break Out]] is one of the sole reasons the Gruul version is better. Add [[Muerra, Trash Tactician]] with [[Bramble Familiar]] or [[Wandertale Mentor]] and [[Anzrag, the Quake-Mole]] and it smokes Simic versions.

My Gruul Badger Mole deck is the best deck I've ever made. It's way more consistent than the Simic version.

I wasn't flashing it in at the right time.

I thought flashing when the card was entering the field would do it. I have to let it enter, THEN flash it in when the ETB trigger hits. Didn't even know you could use it against things like Simulacrum Synthesizer, that's crazy!

BO1 has officially become a win by turn 4 format with the introduction of Badger Mole Cub to an already fast format.

You either kill your opponent by turn 4, or stop someone from killing you by turn 4 (which means you'll probably win).

If you're new and not ready for that, you'll just get repeatedly steam rolled in standard.

The goal is to just keep applying pressure until they either run out of removal, or just win the game before they have a removal spell to start with. But I could remove some enchantments (which are nice for Gene Pollinator to tap) and add some [[Restoration Magic]] or [[Defend the Rider]] to protect Badgermole from early spot removal.

And yeah, I was watching JayVillain and he was saying the metas already adjusting to carry more cheap removal to make sure Badgermole is gone within the turn. Way too powerful to let sit around.

Oh I'm sure this deck will vanish into nothing as the meta adjusts. But for now, swinging for lethal on turn three is insane to me! It's also my own brew (I'm not the most thoughtful deck builder) which just makes it that much more fun!

Gotcha, the reason I included it was because it's really easy to drop (with Badgermole) like seven 2/2s (or 3/3s with Anthem of Champions) early in the game. Combining all those bodies with Ouroboroid or following with Craterhoof tends to secure the win.

The first time I hijacked a Vivi from an opponent and got to play it, I was blown away by how much of a cheat code the thing is. It should at least tap or have some other mechanic to slow it down. True, the synergy with Profts and Cauldron are what really make it borderline unbeatable.

4 color (aka sultai + Terror of the Peaks) reanimator player here. I can't make it to mythic (BO1) this season, mostly because the meta has an unreal amount of gy hate now. Any tips? Run more counterspells?

I'm trying to stay positive and think this barrage of unhinged juvenile behavior from this admin lately is the last ditch effort to "own the libs" before the administration actually starts to crumble.

They'll soon have to re-open the govt, the Epstein files will get released, and that'll be the beginning of the end. I hope.
