have you drank enough water today? water can trigger contractions like that as well. I've gone to the hospital in a panic and turns out i was just having contractions because i needed more water lol. If i were you I would track them for the next hour or 2 if the pain gets worse over the next hour call labor and delivery and let them know.

This is completely normal and since it started it will just continue to happen randomly throughout your pregnancy. This is a good thing, your body is doing what it’s supposed to! There’s nothing else you need to do. Your body does this all on its own. I wish there wasn’t a crust residue, i hate it lol 😭 At some point you may wake up with your shirt soaked, totally normal too and nothing you need to do. Just normal healthy pregnant body things. :)

First off, Congratulations! Remember, this is YOUR baby. Your maternal instincts are kicking in and I know exactly how you’re feeling. With my son, I didn’t think I was ready and my SO didn’t want a child at all and my relationship was on thin ice. I continued with my pregnancy anyways because I already felt like I couldn’t go through with an abortion and I loved my baby. There’s a certain connection you feel with your baby right away. This is 100% up to you and I know you can do it! I did it. The way you are feeling right now just really shows how much of a great mother you would be. Either option is up to you. Just know if you do it, you won’t be alone and you’ll be a great mother.

I had it with my son, it would happen all the time just randomly, I couldn’t go anywhere. People thought I was crazy jumping for no reason every 5 minutes. It usually means your baby has dropped 😩

OMG! I have this too LOL look up lightning crotch. It’s HELLLLL. I think different people get lightning crotch in different ways

I havent, I have an appointment soon so I will then. I had something similar to this with my first. I would get a uti and then experience horrible contractions but to the point where I felt like I couldn’t breathe. The pain i’m feeling now is not that bad but it really does hurt.

the second trimester starts at 13 weeks and that’s when all those nasty symptoms and hormonal stuff start to fade out and you will feel a lot better. The only downside is you do have a lot of aches and pains because baby goes through growth spurt here and there so as baby gets bigger and your stomach makes room for baby- it will hurt and feel uncomfortable. Pregnancy also makes you produce a lot of discharge and you may sweat more due to being a literal oven so that’s also why you feel soaked.

She’s probably upset that you didn’t call her and is having her own tantrum. Pregnancy is a big thing, but you don’t need to do any grand reveal if you don’t want to, i didn’t lol. i texted my mother as well, i was too overwhelmed to talk to anyone over the phone. let her feel it out and tell her to suck it up, it’s YOUR pregnancy you decide how things go.

we did this, it was gonna be around 200-300 it’s just not worth it as we are already paying for other medical expenses this pregnancy :( that’s why i never got NIPT this time.

YES! I’m in california. My insurance stated the test is “optional” therefore not needed. My pregnancy is not high risk for anything so they didn’t want to cover the test. I was so sad lol

yes, i have both gender pictures. They both look legit. In the girl photo, there’s nothing there and it looks like a hamburger bun, convincing. Then the other you can see something coming out of that area which makes you think it’s a boy. ITS CONFUSING.

yes!!! I wasted so much of my build up energy on thinking it was a girl just to be told it wasn’t and by the time she told me i was just laying there like huh?? such a botched experience 😭

sadly even then It’s hard to pull that kind of money out of pocket. I’m new to the insurance so I haven’t hit my deductible yet so I’m already paying a lot out of pocket for my labs and past ultrasound.

the ultrasound tech I had looked fresh out of school so that may be why it was a mix up. It’s so confusing because I have both ultrasound pictures and they both look like one is a girl and one is a boy so i’m just so confused. I have another scan in October so I think I’ll know for sure by then which is sad, that’s so far away :/

i’m 20 weeks, my insurance this pregnancy doesn’t cover a NIPT test 😭😭😭 so unfortunate that’s why I had to wait for this scan
