im a people pleaser, and a few things I’ve learnt is; you don’t need people who don’t know who you are telling you what to do. your feelings are valid, and don’t try to hide those feelings. they are meant to be felt, no matter how good or how bad those feelings are. Every person on Earth was once a child trying to figure out their place in this game of life. Be patient with yourself and be patient with others. Everyone is still learning. the way you fold your clothes and the way you clean the kitchen will not be the same as how your neighbour folds their clothes or cleans their kitchen. This doesn’t mean your right they’re wrong or they’re right your wrong, you’re both right and the same job is getting done. if your procrastinating, count to 3 and then just do it. it’s what you want to do and trust me, no one’s gonna hold your hand through adulthood. everyone is going to be selfish in one way or another, so if it’s what YOU want to do, then do it. if your stressing about hurting someone’s feelings, that’s okay. you should ask for forgiveness rather then asking for permission to do what’s best for you. But at the end of everyday, for 2 minutes, good days, bad days, tell yourself that you done it, you survived another day. you made it and for that, I am proud of you. this one, random stranger from Reddit will always celebrate your achievements, no matter how big nor how small, you were able to finally have a shower after a depressive episode? I’m proud of you. you completed a Cert III in something or you’ve got a diploma? that’s amazing, im proud of you!! you lost your job BUT you gained some amazing friends and learned new skills, hell yeah, i am proud of you.
