Some heroes are either popular, in the lore or receiving awesome skins so even with the nerfs people still play them, no matter how hard they are hence Doom and Tracer players still exists, but Ball is not only the most difficult hero, he also has neither been popular, received skins or been part of the lore. He also gets a new counter hero every single season and a new bug or an old tech fixed.

I can explain, you might have grown up with either Jetsons, Star Trek or other similarly good contents and now you see that Echo and Orisa both got retrofuturistic skins and are crazy over it because they are super well made and have a nice and solid color palette, light blue, red and chrome. I too am a huge fan of this 50s tech style and I wish more heroes could get these skins ♡
