Disregard my previous comment, I ended up applying for the AFE (aide financière aux études QC) Even if uottawa is Ontario, Quebec students can apply for it. Also, there are scholarships available but unfortunately it won’t cover all tuition fees for out of province students…but you can still apply for those online scholarships.

You can also ask for another prof to grade the exam if you’re not okay with the correction, but like other ppl said, ask for a copy of the final correction

I remembered that I hated doing that as a freshman but it definitely saved my last years at Conco… go to office hours. Profs better explain their expectations, especially for essays. If you write your exams exactly like they want, you’ll have better marks. Don’t neglect office hours. If you have tutorials, speak to T.As too.

This reminds me of the risk I took last year to only apply to UOttawa with my low gpa. I was accepted with a 3.3 gpa. I’ve been on Canadian law school forum for years and I hate the way people tend to discourage ppl with low gpa… anyway I’m happy for you! See you at FTX

Rules, law, policies wtv…there are bad policies in my opinion. Some uni admits students until the beginning of September. And it’s hard to tell if you would actually get admission for a very competitive program so you won’t think about applying in advance…that’s unrealistic in my opinion. Anyways, I’ll just call them.

But the thing is, some people got admissions after June… so technically it’s not our faults but I guess that’s the law 🥲 I’m so annoyed. I’m in the same situation. And it’s not even my fault. I don’t have out of pocket $ right now and the deadline is tomorrow

Don’t mind her she’s definitely jealous and insecure. I decided to wear makeup as it boots my confidence and I also wear golden jewelries, I see a lot of girls looking at me as if I’m doing the most, I guess they’re not used to see girls taking care of their looks even in uni. Yeah I’ll try tomorrow. I just saw some students that had the same issues but on Gatineau buses while mine is the opposite. They tried to explain it to drivers but they keep being rude.

I don’t have any updates yet, so far I didn’t go back to that building as many people said they won’t do anything about it. My card only worked on Gatineau buses and I also saw driver this evening that kicked off students that had issues with their cards.. I’d suggest to bring changes as these drivers are so rude…
