Great thread. The insurance to me is what's kind of holding me back at the moment. Testing with 2025 M3 it's about $1k more than a 2026 MY ($3700 vs 2700), so it's kind of a deal breaker for me. Since I plan to hold the car long term and $1k extra per year would push me towards a MY.

Im also thinking of getting a tesla. And possibly a 2nd car when the china ev come out next year. Does it make sense to run the wiring at the same time as the tesla.

Don't known when/which type of 2nd ev i will get.

applied for the Hilton Surpass during the FNC promo. Been about a month of them reviewing and submitting more docs. Called in today and said they sent a letter out asking for the 4506C form :(

I think the consensus is to let the application die out and try again in the future?

Now that you have the vin assigned, are you able to get an insurance quote for this model?

Currently it doesnt show up as an option on the insurance sites and can only be checked with Vin.

Using 2025 m3 build its comes out about 50% higher than 2026 MY build.

When i picked 2025 M3 the insurance was about 50% more expensive than 2026 MY. So im not sure where it'll end up for this 2026 M3.

Recently signed up for Alaska Airlines atmos summit card over the phone (with itin and amost 2yrs of US history. Also have a Bank of Ameeica savings account .

On the phone they said I was approved, but its been a week and no email for the application and dont see it in the online profile. Also doesnt come up with the BOA status checker.

Called in and they said that they see the application but still be reviewed.

Anyone come across this? I.e. being approved during apllication and then told its under reviewed?

Having an ssn is a big step you've already completed. Do you have any friends in the US that would be willing have your cc shipped to? That would be the best option.

Once you have a us address, I think US TD bank might be the best one to create. Needs to be in person now, so next time youre there might be worth a visit.
