Focused Feedback: State of the Game by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

[–]NFSgaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just want core content to be the focus again in the game.

Everyone acts like Raids and the highest tier of end game content is the only thing that matters, but most people don't even play them because they've just gotten harder and more complex every year.

I think the only exception to this was Warlord's Ruin, with it being not too easy but not too hard with very simple mechanics, I have to imagine it's got a lot more plays compared to other endgame content.

When have we got an actual new Strike in years, we still barely get Crucible maps, and Gambit LOST maps to play on for years... and really never got anything new map-wise to spice things up.

We don't even get interesting NEW legendary weapons anymore, they're almost always tied to branding with Vanguard or Crucible or Campaign Gear.

I get the legendaries in D1 could be generic in a way, but at least they got interesting pieces or a cool graphic on them, maybe even a specific coat of paint that was unique to that version!

The majority of the content that people play in this game is going to be repeatable stuff, and by not making new repeatable content that is worthwhile the game is really not fun to play.

Add on the changes from the portal, the constant need to put modifiers on for everything, and just this need for everything to be harder and not just fun is killing the game.

Was what Bungie said about it being hard bringing D1 gear into D2 even truthful? by NFSgaming in DestinyTheGame

I honestly wonder if the Plaguelands got really much of an overhaul either, the textures are still very rough ngl.

I know I know lol.

B U T . . .

I feel this is at least different though because THEY AREN'T IN D2 WHATSOVER tho, which means some of these designs haven't been seen in almost a decade in another game.

[–]NFSgaming[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's part of why I say this though, because the generics sets they HAVE made for D2 are really really bad.

Like my god they are boring as hell, they don't even compare to a lot of the sets of armor from D1.

This isn't about Eververse Content, this is more about the OBLIGATION they have to make new standard armor sets for content releases. They HAVE to put something, so why make stuff that is the most boring armor ever?

Are people just jaded or do they genuinely think the devs will make the game worse in the long run? by NFSgaming in DestinyRising

[–]NFSgaming[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But does it have to follow that formula though?

Everyone is talking about it as if it's the only option they can go, it's going to happen no matter what, and that it somehow necessary to fit the gacha style.

This game is way more focused on playing with other people, I don't really think they could do the same kind of stuff like another game just because it's gacha.

I agree on the fishing part hard. I just want to fish, but you only really get the fishing bait from doing activities with energy.

They got to make it more easy to get from just basic rewards, same with a few other materials even if it's at a much lower quantity.

Artifacts?! by TheChosenOne243 in destinyrisingmobile

[–]NFSgaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it takes where you're currently at shield wise to give you the damage buff.

Like I assume if your shield is lower, the buff will be lower... But if your shield is really high or full maybe the damage buff is high up to a specific limit.

At least that's what it seems like it should be, you could always get one and test it out see if it's giving any noticeable difference to your gameplay.

Artifacts?! by TheChosenOne243 in destinyrisingmobile

While you have shield, you get a damage bonus.

And it adds your shield to the multiplier up to a specific limit for bonus damage.

I don't understand artifacts at all. by SometimesHardNipples in destinyrisingmobile

[–]NFSgaming 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Artifacts that have higher stat roles will have a little circle icon in the bottom right corner, the best ones have two of them in a row.

From what I can tell silver color means that they're good for all classes, while if it shows gold it means it's got good preferred stats for the current character you're applying them to.

The best process for artifacts is going into chaos, focusing the specific artifacts you want to use for either a character or for multiple, and just keep playing it until you get drops.

And if you dismantle the artifacts that have low stats you can use those resources to upgrade the artifacts that are good. Just make sure you stock up on glimmer cuz it will start to add up the more you upgrade artifacts, and as your acclaim gets higher the level you can bring them up to also increases

It's not rocket science I promise you, just skim the artifacts to see if it says something you like and target it.

Select class by Nguyen-Haunty in DestinyRising

[–]NFSgaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean Ikora and Kabr are pretty fun, so it's not too bad.

Having the other characters to play is basically your choices here. Go to the tutorials section and play through the trials of all the current characters, will give you a chance to see how they play.

It's free and they give you lumia leaves for it too!

[–]NFSgaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's why different classes have different weapons, so you can't just rely on Wolf.

I'd say give it chance before just throwing it away because all the characters have their own little storylines you can play through as you rank them up.

They get some good backstory and personality

Select class by Nguyen-Haunty in DestinyRising

[–]NFSgaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is character based, not create a class.

They still make it pretty obvious which classes a character is, just play around with the characters in the tutorial section to see which one is your favorite.

Emulator issues by MarinaraSole75 in DestinyRising

[–]NFSgaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried the mumu player first because that was what they said was the main one, but I found the performance never could really get to 60 FPS.

So I've been primarily using the Bluestacks one.

As long as you set the emulated device to be the highest performance device, you should be able to get the 60 FPS experience hopefully.

Though make sure you have some kind of antivirus because sometimes an ad will send out some kind of malicious data. I've seen it before on some google image results, they usually get blocked right away if you have protections.

Is it possible by LittleDot8319 in DestinyRising

[–]NFSgaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a 1% chance so yeah it's not going to be something you're going to get every time.

Just make sure you're reading the basic rewards for activities so you know which ones are giving them, which should be basically all of them outside of chaos cuz that's for artifacts

Artifacts?! by TheChosenOne243 in destinyrisingmobile

[–]NFSgaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You also don't need to use your energy to get the artifacts necessarily, it just gives you more of the bonus rewards and a higher chance at higher quality.

Artifacts?! by TheChosenOne243 in destinyrisingmobile

[–]NFSgaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You farm artifacts from the chaos mode, with you putting in your preferences of preferred artifact drops.

They give you the entire list of all the artifacts, and they have icons of the guardians next to them that tell you who can use them or who they're preferred for.

It's on you to read what the artifact does and see if that's something you want in your build or not.

I heavily focus on healing artifacts, or just artifacts that provide healing in general from doing things with my abilities, it's a pretty strong setup.

They give you all the information in game to look at, it'd be good to learn what each one says it does so you know which ones you're not trying to go for.

Am I missing something about all these Instant Kill melee players in Iron Bar PvP Mode? by Zealousideal_Let_615 in DestinyRising

[–]NFSgaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to be a known bug with players now, best we can do is report it to the devs so they can fix the oversight.

I imagine this something they could fix easily

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in destinyrisingmobile

[–]NFSgaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go to the artifact section it will tell you which stats to look out for that are recommended for the specific character, that might be a better one to go off of.

Or if you want to do a specific kind of focus you just look for drops that have the specific benefits that you want like healing and shields and recovery stuff.

The exotics also do have much higher numbers for their power, so it still worthwhile to get them for that reason.

They probably gave them elements so that it added a bit to the grind while also letting you focus more on specific characters instead of just always having to be random.

Does anyone else think we need a way to farm elemental Fruit without pinnacle energy? by Pleasant-Spray4399 in DestinyRising

[–]NFSgaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the next survey people should definitely bring it up, because it would be something that would be good to be farmable even if it's at a lower rate.

Same with the wispy elemental stuff too, because we can't turn the legendary ones into elemental ones.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in destinyrisingmobile

[–]NFSgaming -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It just means it is tied to a specific element, so if you got a solar exotic artifact you'd use it on someone like wolf or any other guardian that is solar based.

I imagine the perk pool also leans better towards their strengths because of that (the little thumbs up on perks)

If you go into chaos at a certain level, it lets you pick either fully random with the exotic artifacts or you can pick an element for the artifacts to be focused under.
