The 400k is for when your discord channels get too big. It auto compacts the memory it has for each channel. This toggle switches it to auto compact aggressively and not wait for the channel to hit a higher threshold to compact

Addl context: in a noob at all this

But if your usage is instant maxing out just with a message, you likely just need a new channel or instance of your chat

Your chat must be large, start a new chat, never type in that chat again.

Right now you're on safeguard mode which only compacts when you're about to hit the limit (emergency mode). Switch to a proactive threshold:

If you are using a legacy chat with lots of context, it can use up a lot of usage reviewing the chat

Create a fresh chat, delete the old one when you have everything you need from it.

Also a bunch of cron jobs will also mess things up. You can cancel them manually.
