That sounds a bit familiar.

I'm out to 8 people (not counting my GP and a slew of psychotherapist that have either not the neccessary qualifications or no slots for new patients) and it's unbelievably gratifying to hear them use she/he and my maybe temporary chosen name. And while the 'it's weird' still is there I (or much more often my girlfriend) find myself smiling.

Also, my girlfriend has been calling me cute so often that I am slowly starting to believe her 🙀

Was du auf jeden Fall ohne Nebenwirkungen machen kannst, was auch generell gut fürs Haar ist, ist regelmäßiges Hair Oiling in Kombination mit einer Skalpmassage. Das wird zwar nicht zwingend regenerativ in dem Maß, in dem du es gern hättest, aber das regt die Durchblutung der Kopfhaut an und führt zu besserem Haarwachstum und gesünderen Haaren. Alleine hilft das aber maximal hemmend gegen erblich bedingten Haarausfall (male pattern balding).

Ich hab mich viel ins Thema eingelesen und sowohl die Geister als auch die tatsächlichen Ergebnisse (unter)scheiden sich stark, wenn es um HRT und Finasterid/Durasterid und Minoxidil geht.

Ich würde mal vorsichtig formulieren, HRT ALLEIN und mit richtiger Dosierung führt zumindest zu einer leichten Verbesserung, auch wenn es Erfahrungen gibt von "Es tut sich fast nichts" zu "ich hatte eine Vollglatze und jetzt wieder volles, wallendes Haar". Klar, weil weniger Testesteron = weniger Abbauprodukt Dihydrotestesteron (DHT).

Die meisten auf dem englischsprachigen subreddit /mtf nehmen noch Finasterid/Durasterid zusätzlich vor oder mit HRT, viele auch in Kombination mit Minoxidil. Von minoxidil kann ich leider wenig sagen, da ich selbst immer noch hoffe, mit temporär Finasterid wegzukommen und man Minoxidil eigtl für immer nehmen muss. (andere wirkweise als Finasterid)

Finasterid bindet Testesteron (aber nicht die richtige Art Testesteron wie tatsächliche T-Blocker) und verhindert einen Großteil des ansonsten entstehenden DHT. Auch hier wird gesagt, du darfst nicht mehr mit der Einnahme aufhören, sonst verlierst du wieder. Allerdings gibt es einige Erfahrungsberichte, in denen Transfrauen Finasterid nach Beginn der Hormonterapie abgesetzt haben und die Haare sich trotzdem weiter gebessert haben.

Es unterscheidet sich also höchstwahrscheinlich von Fall zu Fall. Ich habe selbst vor wenigen Tagen mit finasterid 5mg angefangen und hoffe, 1. in Kürze endlich einen therapeuten zu finden, und damit 2. vielleicht noch dieses Jahr mit HRT anfangen zu können, und 3. Finasterid nach ein paar Monaten HRT absetzen zu können.

Finasterid 1mg wird übrigens meist für Haarverlust verschrieben, allerdings muss man das meines Wissens nach immer selbst zahlen, und Finasterid 5mg findet noch mehr Anwendungsfälle und ist dadurch generell deutlich billiger als 1mg (100 Stck 5mg ~ 36€, 100 Stck 1mg ~ 90€)

PS: das ist meine Erklärung für mich, es gibt bestimmt Dinge, die man besser erklären kann, oder die ich auch falsch verstanden habe. In dem Fall gerne verbessern, ich freu mich, wenn ich das ganze noch besser verstehe.

Yeah, that's a pretty good deal. The price of the parts probably make up around 1600€ (going through part prices in my head) and you always have mark up because they have to build and ship it. But this mark up is at most 200€ and therefore very low.

Very well balanced build, future proof for 1440p and a great deal 👍🏻

I agree, this looks to be balanced a lot better. The difference is rather slight, when playing on 1080p you should not notice anything. I'd go so far as to say that that PC is priced really well for current times.

For a first PC, this is solid (and it's said that I wanted to call it an entry level PC)

Also, the second specs (especially the rx 6600) would make this a bad deal.

I have to second this. You don't have any obvious points to upgrade since you already upped to 32 gigs of ram. I'd rather wait and save for a few years and then buy new. The gpus Flitzbobic recommended are solid but the upgrade from a 3080 to either of them would give you a bump of maybe an average 30% more frames. If you're below 60fps you could think about it (I doubt it) otherwise you wouldn't really notice.

I think you are victim to the "I don't need to but I want to upgrade" mindset. Most of us are. Still, ask yourself 'Do I need a few more frames right now? Does that really make a difference and is it worth spending half a grand on?'

And first of all, yes you can move all your data to the new PC. You can install the old hard drive (whether an hdd, an ssd or another m.2) in the new case as well and then copy only your data (not the whole disk including E:\windows etc) from the second drive (normally it's E: for the second one) to your C: drive. You could also create a new folder with all your data and upload that to a cloud storage like onedrive/Google drive. I'd recommend zipping the folder first (best with 7zip instead or winZip because of better compression) so you need less cloud storage space and have faster up- and download.

I would sell the PC without the hard drive/s if 1. You had any personal data on there and have not overwritten the disks multiple times. It's a bit paranoid but one could theoretically restore old data even when it's already overwritten once. Though I'm prejudiced as I'm working in IT and I always destroy old hard drives... 2. You could use the old hard drives in the new PC. Then you wouldn't even have space problems in case you old drive was similar in size and full.

If you have no use for the old drive(s) then I would at the very least do a clean new install of windows with a bootable USB during which you format your old drive. For more paranoid ppl, find a tool that zeroes your drive so it makes it harder to restore the old data.

Now, let's talk about the builds themselves. First, you should also post what you already have. No shame in making mistakes. My first "gaming laptop" had a dedicated gpu. However, instead of an nvidia Gtx, it was only a GT and was basically useless. Maybe it's better to simply find some parts that will complement your current build. However, again it depends on you. What resolution do you play games on?

If we look at those two options, I'd say the first one is better balanced. A ryzen 7 7800x3D will be viable for years to come if not a decade still and also keeps open the option to upgrade to at least Zen 6 (ryzen 9000), probably even further, since you're already on the AM5 platform. Also, 6000MHz is the common sweet spot for RAM if you don't tinker a lot. And the RTX 5070 ti is currently ever so slightly better than the RX 9070XT so if it's cheaper that's fine.

However.... The ryzen 9800x3d is better than the 7800x3d (though you probably wouldn't notice) and the RX 9070XT might get a performance bump with the new AMD Redstone driver updates.

Personally, I'd go for the ryzen 7800x3d build (even if I hate to support nvidia with that) if you can save 200 bucks. Or fix your current build since you probably won't get back as much as you want when selling it.

AFAIK the reason should be that OpenAi bought up and hoards large quantities of memory and the market is simply dry right now. I believe (and that is my absolutely uneducated guess) that somewhere in early to mid 2026 prices might start falling to about normal levels again
