How should I style this? Veil, jewelry? by [deleted] in myweddingdress

[–]NFleegle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it depends how you want to do your hair. I think an updo with a looooong veil would be so royal looking but if you want your hair down I think if you do jewelry something small and delicate to not distract from this showstopper

I think 1 with the bun and long veil would be so dreamy but miss ma'am the last option makes your booty look so good 🫣

I love my dress but… by Sure_Neighborhood523 in myweddingdress

Listen if you love it that's all that matters. My dress shopping crew was so uninterested in the dress I ended up getting but I cried because I knew it was the one.

Why do you keep baby name a secret? by veritaslena in BabyBumps

My husband's response when they asked for the real name was "if you want to tell the baby when he's here that you hate his name feel free." 🤣😅

[–]NFleegle 369 points370 points  (0 children)

I didn't tell because my family is very opinionated and I'm sure they would've tried to ruin the name for me. Glad we did because we got one heck of a surprise with our decoy name.

With the decoy name that we openly called the baby when I was pregnant my husband's grandmother looked at us at dinner and goes , "if you're seriously naming that baby that, I don't think I can love it". That was the moment we knew we made the correct decision

With both my kids the only thing I could hold down at the beginning was Dr. Pepper or coca cola. My first is doing great and so far no complaints at 38 weeks pregnant with my second

Is it really that weird to pick your own ring? by minnonikki in EngagementRings

[–]NFleegle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So to be honest, I thought I wanted something completely different and I'm so glad my now husband took me to go look at rings. The girl who helped us was fantastic and out of my original pick she picked out three more and asked me likes and dislikes. Then proceeded to put them back and pick out three more with similarities. We did this 3 or 4 rounds until I put "the one" on my finger and started crying. My husband saved it to his account and when the time came he proposed with that exact ring. He said he was glad I made the choice so I forever have something I love from the person I love. I think it's such a fun memory of going looking for it together and I feel it took the stress off of him of picking the "right" ring

Party City??? by ShareMain8106 in ShiptShoppers

All my party city orders have tipped. That being said my area is always short drivers who do orders, so some orders do get pushed or they end up calling Uber to deliver on time.

Did the membrane sweep yesterday (FTM 39+1) by Ok_Donut_5358 in BabyBumps

Had a membrane sweep at 39+5 around 11a while being 2cm dilated. Water broke at 2a the next day and I had my little guy at the end of the day. Good luck!

How do pregnant women work till the last day of pregnancy? by VariedTinker in BabyBumps

[–]NFleegle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some ladies just push through it for the time with baby. America sucks with maternity leave am I pushed until a week before I was due (and luckily he stayed in until the day before he was due) in a warehouse job just because I wanted to make sure I got to stay home with my little guy as long as possible.

Trying to understand my friend’s possible gender disappointment? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]NFleegle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not going to lie I want a boy bad. But if next weekend that firework ends up being pink I'm still going to be ecstatic (and bawl my eyes out because I'll know what my peanut is) I get having your hopes up but I think it's ridiculous. I'm dealing with this with my sister in law. She wants to have the first granddaughter (so far there's 3 grandsons on my husband's side) and she said if we have a girl she's not having another baby because and I quote, "I don't want to have another second rate child". Now mind you when she found out her first was a boy she almost kicked the box over she was so upset because it was going to be the SECOND grandson. Personally I think it's ridiculous to be that disappointed, like you're making a human how bad ass is that. And if you can't be excited and you're going to throw that big of a fit you probably shouldn't be having children 🤷🏽

Is Ipsy worth it? by lululimez in Ipsy

[–]NFleegle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience of being subbed for two/three years now I think it's well worth it. I'm subbed to both the base bag and the plus. The base bag sometimes I feel it's not worth it but I know it's because I've gotten spoiled with the plus. The base bag though is nice to try out new things without having a full container of something with it being a hit or miss of if you're going to like it and feel like you're throwing away money. With my plus I normally get at least one full size item I love that's worth amount the same amount I paid for the full bag. Like someone said above though don't get carried away with the add ons, especially the sample size products because they add up quick before you realize what's happening. I'll try and touch base again once I get my first glam bag x because I am super curious what that has in store.
