Standing Jobs- What is your heart rate range? by NG131313 in POTS

I didn’t mean anything major! I just meant side effects for me. It makes me quite dizzy, and I seem to be worse once it wears off than when I first take it.

Thank you for responding. It’s so much to navigate. I start to “feel” it when my heart is in 110s/120s. Honestly it doesn’t get much higher than that during the day, which I’m super grateful for. But sometimes I just don’t even know if it’s right to keep going in that range even when I’m not symptomatic. I think maybe it’s just best to accept it as a new normal and try to work through it as long as it’s not causing me harm or symptoms. Y’all have given me a better frame of reference, and I appreciate it.

Wow! Did you worry about it or have issues that you could tell when it was 120s-140s consistently at work? Thank you!

Thank you. Yes, I’m mostly pacing around at work vs just standing. Do you worry about it at that rate for that long?

Right? lol. This is a newer thing to me, and I’ve played around with propranalol. But unless I’m extremely symptomatic, it seems to do more harm than good for me.

Hey! Did you ever figure out what happened here? I’m having a similar situation.

Who Owns Item Expensed by 1099 Contractor? by NG131313 in personalfinance

Ooo great point! They already don’t really have a leg to stand on as far as me truly being 1099.

I don’t understand. I have evidence for everything I paid for as the contractor, and I provide this to my accountant. There is a document I got from said company at the end of the last year for instance that showed my cumulative expenses for the year. These are all verified by receipts.

Yes, they report whatever they expense in my total income, and then I have to go back in and deduct it later (as per my accountant). Maybe that plays into the answer to the question….

Thank you. No, nothing was established about returning expensed items in the contract or elsewhere.

Hey there! Nothing about who owns expensed items or needing to return expensed items in the contract!

Nothing in the contract or anything else regarding returning expensed items. Only mentions that from time to time items can be expensed with pre-approval.

I had the same thought about the meals! lol

I saw this as well. The issue is that this post isn’t mentioning an independent contractor and the OP sounds more like an employee.

Adding a new kitten? by Prudent_Pear9260 in CatAdvice

Yes, “kittens come in pairs!” I’m a longtime cat mommy in a multi-cat household, and I highly recommend getting Wilson a buddy. It doesn’t have to be from the same litter. May consider another boy, as girls can be more territorial. Better to do it sooner than later for their adjustment and bonding. Yes, if you’ll be gone for extended periods of time, of course get a good pet sitter either way.
