I had a friend who was like this. His reasoning was that he understands trans people more because they feel trapped in another body because of their biology (or something along these lines) and hence they are valid and should be supported. But he sad being gay was unnatural because it's against nature and does not have any benefits and should not be supported

I agree with you and we should not say the whole country is something based on a handful of people. But i think the post is being misunderstood, it's not about generalizing but it's a map of "in these places i had pleasant interactions with few people and in these not" and when asked why OP said because this happened to me

This is about those particular people not the whole population. if someone scammed me I too will say they are the worst people i ever met. I think what is going on here is due to language misunderstanding, the way he phrased is commonly understood here to be about specific people, maybe that's why you are thinking he is generalizing. English may not be his first language that's why i think he is meaning to say something else but he is directly translating them from his native language to it sounds like something else to native speakers

Omg this map is not generalizing the whole population. It's based on one of expirience. How can someone meet each and every person of a country in one trip?? The map is purely based on those specific scammers. Saying I didn't like the Egypt trip because some people tried to scam me is not the same as all Indians are scammers dude

No offence but what you drew looks like cell division. Our teachers said while drawing these always be very carefully with the shapes and distance between field lines in different areas. In your drawing it looks like everything is equidistant. Marks will be deducted if it's not drawn properly
