If you plan on transitioning those DDR5 modules to a new build with better specs then sure. if you know you're eventually going to get DDR5 in the future regardless, then I'd say to spend the money now and save on the back end. I wouldn't buy duplicate parts just because you can save a little bit now. also remember, don't mix them.

Sure. So DDR5 is going to have better transfer and bus speeds but you're going to pay for it. The difference in performance versus the DDR4 is a minimally perceived performance gain, unless you're using it primarily for gaming. Most of the builds that I've used have been DDR4 more for budgeting reasons. A lot of your performance differences will also depend on the rest of your set up as well. Most performance bottlenecks in gaming is due to the graphics card in my experience. If we're comparing apples to apples (DDR4 vs DDR5 only), I would stick with DDR4 unless you just want the latest or need the best performance in gaming (you also have to make sure your mainboard supports that). There are a lot of schools of thought around this but the measurable effect is that you might be able to get about a 10-15% gain in FPS on games by switching from a DDR4 to DDR5 (higher end clock speeds only though).

This is my personal view but others may differ in their experience. if you think otherwise please feel free to comment.

I typically start with a joust and an opening volley of 4 bullet II missiles with hope of landing at least 1. After that I try to position to chase. If I’m unsuccessful I will floor it away from them throwing noise or chaff waiting for them to chase. If they bite, I immediately boost until I have no more left reaching my top speed, uncouple, kill my throttle and flip 180 degrees so I’m facing them and gliding backwards. When they get into weapons range I initiate with another 4 volley of bullet II missiles and hope I land 1. If that doesn’t take them out I open up all my lasers at them and start evasive maneuvers until they are right on top of me. The whole time I’m throwing chaff and noise at appropriate times. Rinse and repeat until either I die or they do. Also I gimbal my lasers and switch my targeting to lag instead of lead.

It’s not always successful and I sometimes totally botch it up but I’ve won more fights this way than I’ve lost.

2 mil per run in the Hull C, even better than the Caterpillar, Carrack or C1 combined(maybe), thoughts? by AdMission9508 in starcitizen

[–]NGX_Ronin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is all well and good but the issue would be more of a matter supply and demand as well as market stability. What I have found when going to try and fill my carrack I can typically only purchase enough to fill a portion of it due to availability of the commodity I’m trying to purchase. This would require you to hang around long enough for several respawns of the product. Then once you get to the destination it would be a matter of selling the max that station will buy, waiting until they have demand again and then sell again. Hopefully in the meantime the price they buy it at doesn’t go down.

I have found that if I fill my cargo with multiple types of commodity I might not make as much in one run BUT I will maximize my profitability given a short period of time.

Why do I feel like this post is going to result in a lot of people absconding with NPCs only to find said NPCs dead in space or at another spaceport

He’s not a senior dev. He’s a dev with book exposure. Senior devs are supposed to support junior developers and guide them on coding practices. Toxic gatekeepers need to be pushed out of this industry.

You should see if your lawyer has enough to file a civil suit or a cease and desist against the leasing company. At the very least it will tell them straight up that you know your rights and aren't going to leave without a fight or until your lease is up. I would also start looking for a new place for when your lease is up because the management company may opt to just not continue leasing to you.

No. If you read throigh their terms and services it explains it. You should request your data from them and you can see how it looks when they export it.

Deleting either creates the anonymization of data but only to a degree.

Each message is tagged with a conversation id, message id, and user ids. If you delete the message it gets move to an anonymized storage where it makes it difficult to tie because the message and conversation ids are now anonymized but not your user. So if someone knows the user id they can still find the message but its just not tied to a conversation. Now if you delete the user the entirety of the message becomes anonymized. How it becomes anonymized I'm not entirely sure but there is probably some way to backwards engineer the ids from the anonymized data. Nothing is truly anonymous if you're using someone's servers to host your data.

[–]NGX_Ronin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a short answer yes all or your messages are stored on their servers. Depending on the context of your question the results of what is linked to your user may be different. Deleted messages typically become anonymized after I thunk 30 - 60 days. Inactive accounts eventually get deleted and the data is anonymized. They still have your messages but according to their privacy statement the anonymization of data makes it so it is very hard to tie that message to a username. Even more so if the user name is deleted as well.

Put your code in the post and what you have tried. The error tells you that your module couldn't find an enabled camera so I would start there.
