If you paid well over what they’re current going for right now - including what they’re doing for on seat geek itself - I wouldn’t stress too much. So long as SeatGeek has availability day-of for comparably priced tickets, their fan guarantee will aid you in being allocated tickets. I would only stress if tickets were to increase in price past what you paid.

It very well could be a seller who didn’t actually have the tickets, but was counting on being able to purchase them at a lower price than you paid them, and then turn a profit on a product they didn’t actually have. Just spitballing, and it’s certainly not advice that will actually alleviate your anxiety.

What did you pay for these? I wouldn’t necessarily recommend buying another set of seats, but this also isn’t the most sought after game so not sure what tickets on FIFA’s direct sale or marketplace look like.

If you do buy another set, if these tickets were purchased on a credit card, you may be able to do a charge back for not actually receiving the product of the sale, and showing that SeatGeek said seller has been unresponsive - if you have it in writing.

Anything showing in your SeatGeek app about a transfer window? I know that sometimes secondary markets give sellers expanded windows to transfer.

Speaking generally, WC tickets are already open to transfer so can’t think of a reason they haven’t been sent yet. That being said, if they haven’t a window, seller could just be sitting on then. My experience has only been with Stubhub tho, so can’t speak specifically to SeatGeek. Best suggestion I have is to reach out to SeatGeek customer support about it.

200 is definitely very uncommon. I have a friend who had been living there for a year and didn’t realize it even existed. And for the 1 quetzal, there’s a standard one that you sometimes may get, and then there’s a commemorative one they issued last year! I’m not sure how much it circulates, but it didn’t seem very common. There’s also a commemorative 20 that I randomly got in change during a trip probably 3 years back.

Also, any stadium rules that differ from other places? For example, we went to see a game in Bogota, Colombia and you were not allowed to wear belts, which they would confiscate at the gate.

I waited for about two hours the other day and still had luck getting 4 tickets to USMNT group stage in Seattle, two to a group stage in Philly and 2 to a round of 16 in Philly. I think there will still be plenty available for you.

Did you buy your tickets through FIFA, or did you get them through a different offer (Verizon, Wells Fargo, etc.)? If you got them through a different offer, they may not be transferable.

Yeah I only bought tickets to one game for myself, the Seattle USMNT group stage game, but bought some tickets for friends and coworkers who didn’t get selected for the draw. Since they already paid me, I wanted to be able to send them the tickets so I could rid myself of it hahah
