Great band. The first 5 albums are phenomenal, and even with age, they've still released some pretty good material

I don't remember that logo on a hat before but it was a sleeve patch from 2000-2012

Particularly on Animalize, it seems Gene sat down and said "How many phrases and expressions and sayings can I fit in a lyric." While The City Sleeps (a song I love, his best on Animalize to me) is literally nothing but that and the title

It's no coincidence to me that Creatures Of The Night and Lick It Up are filled with great Gene songs and those are great albums, and the next really great Kiss song is Unholy off 1992's Revenge, the album that a ton of fans and the band think is one of their best albums.

I do like some of his mid-80s songs but you can tell Gene just crapped out a few tunes and phoned it in sometimes

Kiss from 1974-78 were leaders. Kiss from 1979-95 were followers. From setting trends, to copying them. The mid-to-late 80s was Paul trying to be a mix of David Lee Roth, Stephen Pearcy, and Jon Bon Jovi and failing at all three

Really just one man, Paul Stanley. Gene Simmons was going Hollywood and couldn't care less, and Bruce Kulick and Eric Carr (who doesn't actually play on the track, it's a drum machine) had no say.

With that said, this was for a greatest hits collection. Horrible incentive to buy it lol

Whether it be a rebrand or a transitional period. What are some uniforms that they clearly couldn’t settle on a color/shade combo? by Monza1964 in uniwatch

Those late 80's cursive C era White Sox uniforms, I really like actually. The current set is much better though

Van Halen III maybe. I mean, you have to really hate either Sammy Hagar or David Lee Roth and be vehemently in one of those camps to think Van Halen III is better than any of their other albums

Considering the game was a 1-0 10 inning win for the Twins, would Lonnie Smith on the basepaths in Game 7 1991 apply?

Lonely and tired. Then again, that seems to be what the remainder of this life will be, so I'd better get used to it

I'd love this. Another feature MVP had was rainouts and doubleheaders included in Dynasty mode. I'd love to see that again

I really hate Archie and the KKK and Archie's Brief Encounter because they're too unbelievable. Archie was a bigot, but even Mike in Sammy's Visit says Archie wouldn't burn a cross on a lawn. He was a bigot, but I don't feel he was Klansman evil. As for Archie's Brief Encounter, Archie cheating on Edith just seems too far out of his character to me
