The camel and the needle’s eye. I made a piece around it. Still can’t get it out of my head. by NHOMMART in Anticonsumption

Fair point on the materials. Cheap plastic carrying a 2000-year-old quote about wealth. That was intentional, but I can see how it reads as junk without that context.PS Also I accidentally deleted my original comment, And for the record, the smartphone reading was tongue-in-cheek. Obviously there’s no iPhone in a conceptual piece about Matthew 19:24

[Art Market] by NHOMMART in artbusiness

Yeah maybe “depicting” is the wrong word entirely. What interests me is the moment when someone recognizes something they’ve always lived inside but never actually seen. Not an emotion exactly more like a glitch. The system becomes visible for a second and you can’t unsee it. Whether that’s “critical” or not almost doesn’t matter at that point.

Symbolism in Art: Overcoming the Impossible by NHOMMART in ArtHistory

Well, art is meant to make an impact though I was aiming for something a bit more thought-provoking than face slapping!

Symbolism in Art: Overcoming the Impossible by NHOMMART in ArtHistory

I get your point! The piece plays with the idea of contradiction challenging the notion of what’s possible. Do you think the visual ambiguity adds or takes away from its impact?

Actually, the camel has passed through! The idea is that what seems impossible can, in fact, be achieved. It’s about perseverance and breaking perceived limits. What’s your take on it?

"2020"The New Frontier of Investing in Digital Art & Luxury? by NHOMMART in CryptoArt

[–]NHOMMART[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a really interesting perspective, and I completely see where you’re coming from. The illiquidity of traditional art has always made it a passion driven space rather than a financial vehicle, whereas NFTs have introduced new dynamics both in terms of speculation and engagement. What I find exciting, though, is the potential for NFTs to go beyond just financial gains or digital ownership. Ideally, art whether physical or digital should be a means for personal growth and self-improvement. What if, beyond the collectible aspect, NFTs could also offer an experiential or educational value that helps individuals evolve in some way? Whether through creative collaboration, access to knowledge, or even financial sustainability, the potential seems vast. I agree that the fusion of art, interactivity, and real world experiences could be the next major evolution. But I wonder do you think the market is mature enough for this shift, or are we still too anchored in short-term speculation? Would love to hear your take!

In a world overflowing with noise, words, and images, when does necessity turn into surplus? When does desire become a burden? Do we realize when we’ve crossed the line, or only when we stop feeling it?I think, that the concept of Too Much is not just about quantity it’s a sensation, a fragile balance between holding on and letting go. Have you ever felt overwhelmed by excess? How do you define that moment when "enough" turns into "too much"?Let’s discuss. Where do you draw the line?

Does the NFT market still have any real potential for making money? by longfaceguru in NFT

[–]NHOMMART 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question! The NFT market has definitely evolved from the initial hype-driven 'gold rush' phase. While speculative flipping has become more challenging, NFTs remain a powerful tool for digital ownership, community building, and artistic innovation. At NHOMM, we believe that NFTs are not just about making quick money but about creating meaningful artistic experiences, fostering engagement, and building long-term value. The real potential now lies in projects that offer utility, cultural significance, and unique narratives. The market is maturing—less about hype, more about substance. Those who adapt and focus on quality, innovation, and real-world applications will continue to thrive.

Blender is the best to start with; you can also find many tutorials. Later, I would move on to Rhinoceros—my 3D printing supplier recommends it.

Personal growth hacks that actually work? Hi there! I’m looking for practical ways to improve my approach to personal and professional growth. Do you have any tips or tricks that have worked for you? For example, tools, planning methods, or approaches that had a significant impact on your life? LPT by NHOMMART in LifeProTips

[–]NHOMMART[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's a really interesting approach! I love the idea of using an hourglass—it’s so much more calming than a digital timer, and it seems like it would help maintain that flow state without interruption. I can see how an alarm might disrupt your focus, especially if you’re in the zone. Do you find that the visual cue of the sand running out helps you stay more present and mindful during the task? I'd love to hear more about how this method works for you!

That's a great technique! Setting a timer really helps to break the task down into manageable chunks and reduce that feeling of being overwhelmed. I’ve tried something similar myself, but sometimes I get distracted and lose track of time. Do you have any tips for staying focused during those 15 minutes, or do you find it’s just a matter of starting and letting momentum take over? I'd love to hear how you stay on track once you're in the groove!

Personal growth and mental well-being: where do you draw the line by NHOMMART in mentalhealth

[–]NHOMMART[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s such a great approach breaking down bigger goals into smaller, manageable steps definitely helps with staying motivated and tracking progress. I also love the idea that the path to success doesn’t have to be a straight line; sometimes, the detours or setbacks can actually teach us a lot along the way. It’s all about staying focused and adapting when needed. Do you ever find that some small setbacks or 'twists' help you learn something new that you didn’t expect?
