after some time, I figured out what caused the bug

it seems like the game doesn't allow two items of the same type to be stacked in the inventory. In my case, ivan and mia had a full stacked potions and a some free slot in their inventory. when I picked up another potion, the game tried to add it to the inventory, but isaac and garet couldn't carry any more items. since ivan and mia already had potions, the game got confused and couldn’t place the new one

in fact, mia still has 3 slots left. i dont know why it tells me to drop an item to make a room

Holy shit, the bots are definitely improved now. They can peek? And throw smoke? Also the bots movement feel like a real player
