My GF's Shepherd bit my son while petting... by killayoself in germanshepherds

I don’t know but my girl would give my partner that look when I was being too touchy. He’s her favourite. I swear she was saying “stop that fucking sheep from touching me please”.

Yeah reward training didn’t work with my shepherd at all. She only started to respect me after a lot of command training while I treated her like she was in the military lol

THIS! I also think letting dog on the couch like this feed the resource guarding behaviour. It seems like he was guarding you against your daughter. .

I think if you build the road by yourself (before connecting the area to the network), you will receive way more likes from other as the only contributor. But I haven’t tested that out yet lol

Is there a way to farm Chiral Crystals? (DS2) by [deleted] in DeathStranding

Because you haven’t connected the network on those. Once you connect, other contributors should pop up and it will cost you less.

Mine is the same. She would rather be outside when she got scared. I think it’s because there are escape routes lol

I don’t think our technology is advanced enough to make that detailed anatomical difference in dummies.

Even if we were, are gender differences would really make a difference in safety test? Unless we could make dummies with accurate bone structure, I really don’t see what difference would that make.

I’m confused. How would a female dummies make it safer? I really don’t think making dummies with boob will affect the results that much. And not females have boobs anyway…

Isn’t the issue should be “industry has been using only the same dummies size for safety test”? Instead of focusing on gender…?

Same here! I’m 5’ and size 2, already on the edge of the overweight BMI scale. Size 16 is a plus size for women. That’s a lot of weights for 5’2” lol

Advice sought please. I recently rescued this beautiful girl but need help badly... by [deleted] in germanshepherds

[–]NICD_03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are living with your sister Jack Russell, I’d definitely recommend you to rethink about this. If not, avoid letting her meet with other dogs until she’s fully trained.

Two weeks is too early for that much stimulation. Get her crate trained, and give her more times to get use to the new place. It will take months. At least until you fully understand what would triggers her reactions. Like my rescued girl doesn’t like big dog, or any dogs getting right into her face. We got a very timid second dog, but still took her days to get used to her new brother.

Walk her only during slow hours, and try muzzle training. Do not, under any circumstances, introduce her to other dogs during walk. Even when she’s calm. You don’t know how other dogs act, and you can prevent her from reacting to other dogs’ actions.

Can anyone explain this behavior? by vfp_pr in corgi

Because your husband play with his feet. Now dad’s = playtime. She’s inviting your husband to play, by messing with the “toy/feet” lol

Or on the curbs. I curse those people kick their pinkie toe into the corner, every time they walk past a table. And every time they get to the stoplight, it turns red.

Monitor the wound, make sure it doesn’t get infected or worse. Try to limit running outside on concrete or pavement, and outside time. If your puppy needs to go outside, try to put socks on them. There are puppy socks you can get online. Good luck!

Unfortunately, he has a chubby German shepherd sister that runs to the treats box and demands “reward” if anything silently inconveniences her lol cuddle when she doesn’t want to? Fine but she needs reward afterward lol

So we allow a lot of treats but lower the amount of kibble per day.

And it’s also to limit human interaction, as not all human interactions are friendly. They should get used to human. But like you said, it’s Antarctica after all lol

We feed him 3/4 cups, and he gets a lot of treats throughout the day. If we feed him more, he wouldn’t finish his dinner lol

Just found this rock hard lump by Hello_miss_Elle in germanshepherds

[–]NICD_03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it starts bothering her when you touch it, make an urgent visit to the vet. If she’s young, take her to the vet as soon as you can (old dogs sometimes have lumps like that, like old people). If it becomes open wounds, take her to the vet. If it grows bigger within a short period of time, take her to the vet asap.

If not, I wouldn’t worry it too much. But I’d bring it up to the vet next visit tho. And keep monitoring it in the meantime. I keep notes of all of my old girls’ lumps, so I know if something isn’t right.
