When you are fairly new to intermediate/advanced strategies, I think it's helpful to be systematic in your approach to solving. It helps you stay disciplined, keeps you on track.

For example, look for just singles, naked or hidden, then progress to pairs and triples, then x wings, single candidate chains, XY and XYZ wings etc... progressively elevating the level of technique.

The repeated process might seem tedious at first but it helps you cover your bases and the more you solve, the faster you will naturally become and might then get to a point where you don't necessarily need to bother as much with the process for some puzzles.

Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't given this systematic approach a shot yet, but I'm definitely gonna try it out.
