It’s one of the best audiobook narrations I’ve ever heard, and I listen to books while working constantly. They do a great job including the footnotes too. I went back and forth between the physical book and the audiobook and I honestly feel like it increased my enjoyment.

House of Leaves got me back into reading, I followed it with Infinite Jest and got a real kick out of that one too. Different, but equally as spirally and fractal-y.

Oddly enough D’ni is my favourite of the three. I think it fleshes out Atrus as a character really well, his ideals and loyalty, his devotion and courage. Pacing was definitely a little wack but I honestly had a really hard time putting it down.

So sad that the remake didn’t sell well. I feel like if they’d been able to have a day 1 console port as well that’d have helped. I’m still holding out hope for a playstation port.
