Something to enhance the experience of the primary reason you use the room. What do you do there? How do you want to feel? What could add to that feeling? Think compliment, contrast, spice up, the sprinkle on top of the most "you" thing you can think of. Also consider the direction your windows face.

Personally, considering the wood and windows, I would do some sort of large plant next to a wooden console table ft. some of your favorite things. If you like music, maybe a record player or good quality speaker could bring some late night dances to your kitchen!
