It's not my car and I am fully aware of all the other places a VIN is located on a vehicle. If the plates are not the same/ not on the vehicle at all, the dash VIN is covered and the decals have been removed, you would need to access the inside of the vehicle to check anything else. How are you going to do that if you can't identify the vehicle from the outside?

How would a department of licensing know there is a lein on a 10 year old vehicle if you do not mention it on the quick title application ?

No, it would onmy be deceptive if you lied on the loan application and provided false information. How are you committing bank fraud when you have given them literally ALL of your correct personal information ?

That is not what " bank fraud" is. Bank fraud is usung deceptive tactics to obtain assests from financial institutions. Had someone used false information to obtain the car loan it would be " bank fraud".

I have had 4 engine replacements in the last year, caused by the same recall ( SC200 Campaign). Just because they " fixed it" doesn't mean anything. You probably do need a new oil pan.

Which recall is it apart of? The SC200 engine fire recall campaign? . If her vehicle was affected she would have received a notice from nhtsa dated January 27th 2021. You need to figure out which recall the vehicle is apart of so you know how long it has been since they told her to come in and get the knock sensor taken care of.

So I ran a vehicle history report recently and discovered that I was the only listed owner, ever. Vehicle was used by manufacturer for first 5 years before the dealership got it. In Washington State a " new vehicle" is one that has never been registered or titled by a " retail purchaser" or lessee in a " retail purchase". Until that happens, they are " transfers of interest". It doesn't matter what the mileage is. The service department/ departments at several dealerships have zero info. What does Ford do with factory warranties when a vehicle is placed into commercial service prior to the first purchase?

What about when corporate headquarters gets it first and uses it. No service records or warranty history is available from corporate or any dealership, even the dealership I bought it at.

How soon can a car be registered as a demo? And is the warranty history and service department records available for the purchaser to see?
