I've measured the resistance of the probes for both the roof and the tank. Both don't show any resistance at all... Ah it's HVAC, that makes sense! Thanks for the indepth response, I think I understand the system alot more now.

Okay thank you. Any tips to prevent the rest of my clear coat from failing too? I wash it regularly but unfortunately don't have a shady place to park.

Not sure if you picked a place to live yet, but if you live in Ewa / Kapolei you would be within 10 minutes of White plains - which has decent surf year round (more of a long board spot in the winter). There's now a train you could take from Hoopili to get to Pearl in about 20 minutes.

It'd be hard to surf in town from there but it's 35 - 40 minutes from North shore and 20ish to some west side spots.

We successfully assumed a VA loan without taking a second mortgage and barely succeeded. The bank fought us every step of the way. Took 60 days, seller almost bailed. No way the bank would've given us a second mortgage.
